Over the last ten years my wife and I have travelled extensively throughout South East Asia but I have to say visiting Bhutan with this tour has been one of the highlights, not only of all our trips but of our entire lives! Our amazing, caring, helpful and very knowledgeable guide Namgay, explained all aspects of Bhutanese life. In really engaging ways, Namgay explained to us, this unique country’s culture - from its cuisine to its rich history and religion. Namgay was supported by one of the best drivers we’ve ever had on our many Asian odysseys. KP cheerfully navigated hundreds of miles, back and forth across this Himalayan nation, during our five-day adventure and we felt entirely safe all the time. Top class driver! We’ve actually been treated like guests in Bhutan during our entire stay - not simply tourists. That’s been a big plus. And the company has been very flexible and accommodating. If we wanted to modify the trip in any way, they were always open to our suggestions. Meanwhile, the high points of our trip have included staying one night in a remote monastery at Godeydrak which was an experience of a lifetime. We hiked there and heard evening prayers with the local Buddhist monks, followed by a fascinating conversation with one of the senior teachers on the essence of Buddhism. Also outstanding were the fabulous Fortress at Punnakha, reached by crossing an ancient magical wooden bridge with shoals of trout below and the lovely Chimi Fertility Temple, established by the country’s “divine madman” whose “crazy wisdom” would surely benefit us all in these testing times! Finally, for me, the most rewarding part of the trip was the hike to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery which is truly one of the wonders of the world. It’s a tough walk, but well worth the effort. Our hotels (apparently only three star but better than most four star hotels we’ve stayed in throughout Asia) were all impeccably clean with lovely staff and great tasty local food. I really can’t recommend enough this tour, this company and its outstanding employees.

I had the most incredible time! Damber who I corresponded with got everything organised with so much ease super last minute! And was really accommadating. And wjere we visited was super special and felt really unique as I got to really dive into Tibetan Budhism and understand Bhutanes culture in so much depth. But honestly the highlight was Guide- Tenzin Loday and Lhab Tshering our driver! I got two super experienced senior guides! Tenzin was such a laugh, we had such great banter and it made me feel even more comfortable as I was traveling alone, I never felt alone. The Tenzin tax was paid haha super special guide honestly I recommend this especially if you get Tenzin and Lhab (LT). The two together knew so much! From budhism to plants and birds to politics and social policy of the country and its history. Truly amazing. I only wish it was longer, but now I've made friends for a life time and I hope to come back soon.

We did 5 days and 4 nights in Bhutan as a way to see the highlights. Working with Bhutan Best Inbound Tours was really easy. They were very responsive and helped us create our itinerary given our needs. Phub, our guide, was very knowledgeable and flexible with our itinerary as we wanted to see the most given the short amount of time there. We also appreciated our driver, Jamyang, who was very friendly and took us to all the places we wanted to go. Overall, we had a great experience and would go back again!

Our 5-day, 4-night tour of Bhutan was excellent, largely thanks to our guide, Pema, and driver, Jamyang. Jamyang was a very safe and reliable driver, making the journeys comfortable and stress-free. Our guide, Pema, was the highlight. His knowledge of Buddhist spirituality was impressive. At sites like Tiger's Nest Monastery and Punakha Dzong, he provided clear and insightful explanations about the history and practices, which greatly enhanced our understanding. He was also exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and happy throughout the trip. The partnership between Pema and Jamyang made the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Pema.

Our trip to Bhutan with Best with Bhutan exceeded all expectations, thanks largely to our guide Pema and driver Jamyang. From the moment we arrived, Pema’s deep spiritual connection to his country shone through in every temple visit and monastery we explored together. The highlights were unforgettable — hiking up to Tiger’s Nest was both challenging and rewarding, and visiting the Fertility Temple gave us genuine insight into Bhutanese traditions and beliefs. Pema has a gift for bringing these sacred places to life, sharing stories and teachings that made each location meaningful rather than just another tourist stop. What stood out most was Pema’s authenticity. His explanations of Buddhist practices and local customs came from a place of genuine devotion, which made our experience feel deeply enriching. He was patient with our questions, thoughtful in his responses, and perfectly attuned to our group’s pace and interests. If you’re looking for more than just sightseeing — if you want to truly understand Bhutan’s spiritual heart — we can’t recommend Pema and Best with Bhutan highly enough. This journey with my two friends has left us with memories and perspectives we’ll carry forward for years to come.

We had such an amazing experience in Bhutan thanks to our wonderful guide, Pema, and our skilled driver, Jamyang. Pema was incredibly knowledgeable and shared Bhutanese culture, history, and his insights into Buddhism in a way that felt both engaging and personal. He always checked in on us, made sure we were comfortable, and brought us to the best spots — including hidden viewpoints and great photo locations we never would’ve found on our own. They really made our trip unforgettable. We’re genuinely grateful for their kindness and hospitality, and we would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Bhutan.

I can say that during a three-week trip away from home, my guide Kinley and driver Nangay made me feel like family. I had incredible experiences while visiting Paro and Thimphu. The climb to Tiger's Nest was more enjoyable and less tiring, talking with Kinley and his experiences. On the last night, I asked to have an experience at a local family's home, and he asked me what I would like to eat. I can eat anything, and they prepare a delicious meal. Afterward, the whole family made a point of taking photos with me and keeping them forever in their memories. Just as I will forever cherish these incredible moments in Bhutan, from the airport to the airport back. If i ever return there, Kinley is my first option.
