The walking tour was informative and interactive as I was the only person who braved the rain. I loved that, at the half way point, when telling the story of the lamington I was given a lamington to eat. It would have been better had I the opportunity to buy a drink to go with it. I discovered lots of interesting points and stories of Brisbane and given ideas to go explore some more.

It was my first time to Brisbane. On our well paced walk around the city, Cheryl our guide, did a wonderful job introducing our small group to the interesting highlights and history of beautiful Brisbane. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, wanting you to love her city as much as she did.

My husband and I enjoyed this very detailed walking tour. Our guide Matt had many interesting stories to share at every stopping point. We even went up to the Star observatory to see the beautiful scenery of Brisbane.

This tour far exceeded my expectations and left me excited to return to several sites introduced by our experienced and deeply knowledgeable guide, Matt. It’s hard to believe how much we saw and learned about this beautiful city in just 3 short hours. From historical landmarks to sophisticated downtown arcades to the river front to the secret treasures of a seemingly obscure alleyway, Matt took us back in history and forward into Brisbane’s bright future all the while providing insights and recounting unforgettable stories about the people who built this city, from the First Nations to the mysterious family who rose from nothing to become the founders of the University of Queensland. I’ve been in many city tours around the world and this was truly an excellent experience. Thanks, Matt!

Our tour guide, Guy, was great. Lots of knowledge, and a very relaxed style of storytelling. Guy was very friendly, funny and set an easy pace. I have lived in Brisbane all my life, and found out so much about my home city. Guy made the tour, fun & very informative.
