5.00The walking tour was informative and interactive as I was the only person who braved the rain. I loved that, at the half way point, when telling the story of the lamington I was given a lamington to eat. It would have been better had I the opportunity to buy a drink to go with it. I discovered lots of interesting points and stories of Brisbane and given ideas to go explore some more.

It’s hard to believe how much we saw and learned about this beautiful city in just 3 short hours. From historical landmarks to sophisticated downtown arcades to the river front to the secret treasures of a seemingly obscure alleyway, Matt took us back in history and forward into Brisbane’s bright future all the while providing insights and recounting unforgettable stories about the people who built this city, from the First Nations to the mysterious family who rose from nothing to become the founders of the University of Queensland. I’ve been in many city tours around the world and this was truly an excellent experience. Thanks, Matt!
