Discover the capital of Europe with a private guide during your cruise stop
As capital of Belgium and capital of Europe, Brussels offers the best of many worlds: from Gothic architecture to Art Nouveau, from historical landmarks like the Triumphal Arch in the Jubilee Park and the Palace of Justice to the Atomium, the icon of modernity during the universal exhibition Expo 58. The medieval city centry is both trendy and traditional.
We discover the city both by private car and on foot. Brussels offers spectacular views as it was built on seven hills.

Atomium
The Atomium as the Symbol of Brussels An example of what it means when art meets architecture There are few buildings that can capture the imagination of visitors of all ages and backgrounds. By using fantastical yet familiar elements to enable a sense of wonder on the part of viewers from across the world, the Atomium, sitting in the northwest area of central Brussels in Belgium, is one of those buildings. The Atomium is a giant model of a unit cell of an iron crystal, with each sphere of the structure symbolizing an atom. Completed in 1958 as a unique combination of art and architecture, it has somehow been able to endure with one foot in the past and one in the future. The structure attracts over 600,000 visitors every year and in the process has become one of the national symbols of Belgium.

We were on a 10-day cruise, which included a stop in Belgium. We had a private tour of each port, and this tour company was by far the best. Our guide, Erik, was extremely knowledgeable. He provided countless details and history about the country and landmarks. The owner, Sala, was our driver. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible, extending the tour to ensure we saw everything we wanted. They tailored the day to what we wanted to experience but also gave excellent advice on what to see and how to lay out our itinerary.

Starting our journey from Zeebrugge with Lucia, we enjoyed a lovely tour of Brussels, uncovering the beauty of this culturally and architecturally rich city. The highlight of the day? Our meal at Chez Léon—absolutely unforgettable! Miammm!

Exploring the charming streets of Brussels was an absolute delight! From the stunning Grand Place to the mouthwatering Belgian waffles and chocolates, every corner of this city offers something unique. Highly recommend a visit to the Atomium for breathtaking views and a touch of modern architecture. A perfect mix of history, culture, and gastronomy!

well unfortunately the driver was almost one hour late without any communication as we frantically tried to reach Viator and the provider. They finally showed up in a very small Skoda vehicle for five passengers. It was very cramped and uncomfortable. The tour ended one hour early, it was our understanding the tour was from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm but in fact we were picked up at 11:00 am drop off at 5:00 pm so I suppose we were robbed of 2 hours. The driver, Hansa was very knowledgeable and pleasant and the guide, Andrea was as well. All in all we gained a lot of information with a few bad experiences along the way.
