The area has been inhabited since the Bronze Age, and the site now occupied by the Cittadella is believed to have been the acropolis of the Punic-Roman city of Gaulos or Glauconis Civitas

A rushed tour with a disrespectful captain

The trip overall was way too rushed. We had no time in Gozo and barely got to have a look around. We booked a taxi to get back to the boat with some other tourists, but the taxi got a flat tire. We scrambled to find an alternate taxi, and still managed to get back at the assigned time, only to find the boat had already left! It had left 9 (yes count that 9) of us behind! We managed to find another tour company to take us to Comino, bless them. When we confronted the captain of the boat we were supposed to take, he tried to tell us that he told everyone the boat was leaving at the time he gave us - not that we were to be back at that time... which was completely untrue. He was rude and bordered on verbally abusive. We managed to get a partial refund. Terrible, terrible experience. I have traveled a great deal in my life, and I've never experienced the bullying and disrespectful behaviour on this tour.

I done this trip today. When it got to boarding the ferry I encountered a problem with my phone which affected the ticket. Janko was a great help and very patient in helping me sort the problem even though he was very busy at the time.also all the staff during the trip were very friendly and good at what they do.the trip was really enjoyable and well organised,and everyone I spoke to enjoyed it.would recommend to anyone visiting malta.

I bought tickets for the tour of the islands Comino and Gozo with I see four, highly recommended. The tour consists of visiting Gozo, Comino and Blu lagoon, an experience not to be missed.
