Please Note: Our expert guide will take you to all the sites listed in the itinerary, not just a select few. To ensure an authentic experience, we intentionally avoid overly touristy spots, allowing us to offer you a unique and unparalleled perspective of the region. Our first stop is a silk cocoon market, where sericulturists bring in millions of silk cocoons for sale. It's an astonishing sight to behold. With insights from our expert guide, you'll learn about the various stages of the famed Mysore silk production — from the cocoon to the yarn, which is then woven into cloth before becoming a wearable garment.
We believe food is an integral part of an Indian cultural experience; hence we start our tour early and detour from the highway to visit a traditional eatery serving authentic local breakfast. Here our accompanying guide will take you through a sumptuous culinary experience.

The local Priest provided a fascinating overview of the Krishna faith. Other monks provided snacks and a tour of the grounds.

Praveen is an extremely easy to get along with person with a good soul and excellent driving skills. I went with family and another person who was also wonderful. He's brilliant at accommodating for people with allergies or food preferences (vegan/vegetarian). He also has a vast amount of knowledge not just based upon the sites you visit but the cultural and historical value of India which allowed me to get a largely different perspective on the places we were visiting. Most of all I loved that he took no for an answer when trying new things without pushing further and I loved that no matter where we went, he provided a sense of security and adventure. Brilliant time, honestly the best pick for a tour guide I've had in any country I've been to in my life.

Wonderful tour - fantastic guide. Great way to see major attractions and also get a bit of an insight into rural India off the beaten track. Highly recommended!

Great tour guide that could answer all my questions, with excellent English. Comfortable ride and clean car. Also great and interesting tour group in general, with plenty of time to chat.

We booked a Hidden Gems tour and were lucky enough to have Praveen as our host — he was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of Indian history and culture was outstanding, and he shared information in a way that was rich, engaging, and never overwhelming. We felt like we learned so much while still being able to relax and enjoy the 13-hour day! We were given VIP access everywhere, skipping queues and moving through sites effortlessly. As a bonus, we also visited a local flower and spice market, tried some incredible traditional Indian sweets, and got a real taste of everyday life — literally! Praveen took loads of fun photos for us and made a genuine personal connection. It felt like travelling with a friend who knew all the secrets of the city. Lunch was a highlight — a beautiful riverside spot, delicious food, and monkeys playing in the trees beside us. Pure magic. Yes, it’s on the expensive side — but the value is exceptional. The professionalism, authenticity, care, and ethical approach make it totally worth it. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and recommend Hidden Gems to anyone looking for a high-quality, memorable, and heart-warming experience. Thank you, Praveen — we’ll remember this day forever. 😊

What I appreciated most about this tour was Praveen’s enthusiasm and deep passion for history and many other subjects. He took us to places I never would have discovered on my own and shared stories I otherwise would never have heard. I also loved the spontaneous aspect — we were able to add extra stops based on our interests and wishes. This was my second tour with Praveen, and I hope to join many more in the future. I highly recommend this tour!

Here’s a polished rewording of your text: --- The day trip was a long one—about 14 hours in total. We started early, leaving Bengaluru city center at 6 AM, and ended with a long ride back through Bengaluru’s evening traffic. Because of that, it was especially important that the tour was fun, lively, and informative, and it truly was. I had a great time listening to our tour guide Fez and our coordinator Sanjana.

Long Day but a great way to experience some beautiful sights! Enjoyed our guides very much. Our group size was 5 guests, 1 coordinator, 1 guide, and 1 driver. Good to have bottle of water, but you can pick up at restaurant. Do need to take off shoes at a few sites, but can wear socks (which I liked). I would recommend this tour if you are ok with 14 hour day (weekend). Weekday may be less crowded and thus a bit less time. Major highlight of my short stay in India.
