Children under the age of 9 are not allowed to climb the leaning tower for safety reasons, but they can enjoy other parts of the tour.
There are 251 steps to climb the tower. There is no lift.
We kindly request that you arrive at the designated meeting point 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has started.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
Bags and backpacks must be stored in the cloakroom before climbing the tower (free of charge).
Individuals wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral.

1.00We booked 8 Viator tours for a recent trip to Italy. We made 7 of them fine, but we could not find the guide and sign at the meetup spot for Pisa. So we missed this trip and Viator did not provide a refund. I understand their position, but there were multiple other Pisa tour groups in the exact same spot that had signs, banners, scarves and streamers. Where was the Viator guide and sign? We don't know. Also for context, the meetup spot is a small area by a statue with other tour groups meeting at the same time in the middle of the most crowded part of Pisa. It is a poor meetup spot due to the heavy crowds all around. In short, it's a cluster. So good luck.

5.00Our experience on this tour was outstanding! Valeria was a wonderful guide! For my husband and I, this tour changed the idea that Pisa is just the stereotypical Leaning Tower site with fun photos. It is so much more! Valeria did a great job sharing all of the history and meaning of the Square of Miracles. We would give this more stars if possible!

1.00I would not recommend this tour. We arrived at the Fontana dei Putti meeting point 10 minutes before the tour. We circled the Fontana dei Putti several times searching for our tour guide, however we were not able to find them. There were only a few people standing around the Fontana dei Putti, but we did not see a tour guide anywhere. As a recommendation, I would recommend the tour company have some type of sign or flag, with the name of the company, so that customers can easily identify and find the tour guide.

4.00This was a fantastic tour around all the buildings of Pisa. We got to go inside all of them. My only complaint is the meeting place for the start of the tour was misleading and not clear.
