Children under the age of 9 are not allowed to climb the leaning tower for safety reasons, but they can enjoy other parts of the tour.
There are 251 steps to climb the tower. There is no lift.
We kindly request that you arrive at the designated meeting point 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has started.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
Bags and backpacks must be stored in the cloakroom before climbing the tower (free of charge).
Individuals wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral.

5.00We signed up for the small group and were lucky enough to be the only two on the tour that day! Our tour guide, Roberto, was so super friendly and very knowledgeable about Pisa and the tower, church, etc., since he is a local Pisan. I would highly recommend this tour with Roberto if you want to learn about everything you are seeing and have an unforgettable experience. He also knew exactly where and when to take the obligatory photo of pushing the tower with our hands.
