Our first stop will be at the picturesque Village of Laneia; a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses.
Next stop will be in Troodos Square, in the surroundings of the pinewoods, you may enjoy a coffee break and wander around the stalls selling traditional products.
Continuing up the mountains, we will arrive at the island’s most famous and wealthiest monastery, Kykkos. With its gold decoration, paintings and mosaics, the monastery possesses a precious icon of the Virgin Mary painted by the Apostle Luke.
Following on the peak of the mountain, we will have the opportunity to visit the stunning Throni tis Panagias.
Next, you will have time to relax and enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit a winery for wine tasting. Here you can try a variety of locally produced exquisite wines.
Lastly, we will stop at Omodos village; where you can visit Timios Stavros Monastery; the local bakery, try a Cypriot coffee made in the traditional way.

5.00The itinerary was great, loved visiting the mountain villages, the square with the shops selling traditional products, the drive through the mountains and the views. The monastery was special. A very spiritual place. A place to be still and quiet. The day would not have been as pleasant if it were not for the guide Michalis and the driver Christos who apart from being friendly and knowledgeable went above and beyond to accommodate any needs. So grateful to them!

4.00Booked online. Our pickup was on time. Comfortable, modern air-conditioned minibus. Our guide was a careful driver, informative and helpful. The tour followed the itinerary exactly. It would have been great to squeeze in one of the painted churches too, but the monastery was impressive.

Would have liked to spend more time there. Sokrates is a great driver and guide - very pleasant and considerate. I enjoyed our conversations.
