What To Expect
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
This unique and sacred place is a must see place in Ubud. There are many wild life inside the thick forest. Walk along the path under the shade and see many birds, lizards, butterflies and monkeys among the trees. It is a perfect set for the real wild life. There are 3 sacred temples to balance this area. Local people usually come to pray on a special ceremony day.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace
Drive to the north of Ubud to stop at the magical Tegalalang rice terrace to see the real traditional farmer activities in their daily activities. Have a short walk among the lush green rice field view.

5.00We only had one day to see the highlights of Ubud. Our tour guide, Ma-de was very knowledgeable about all the attractions. He spoke great English, was a safe driver, and made the day run smoothly. We saw the Tegenungan waterfall, wood carvings, Goa gajah, monkey Forest, Tegalalong rice terrace, coffee plantation, market. We even enjoyed a tasty lunch. Ma-de was also flexible enough to let our kids try the zipline at the rice terraces. We would highly recommend Ma-de and this tour to others. Suksma for the great day.

5.00Hendra is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Reached the hotel on time, drove well, and proactively took many perfect pictures of us. He took us to the best spots, helped us find the less crowded spaces, and even helped us negotiate at the market. It was our first day in Ubud and it was made very memorable because of him. All the sites in this itinerary are beautiful. We also got to do purification rituals at the temple and swim underneath the waterfall. I strongly recommend taking this trip with Hendra if you're in Ubud.
