What To Expect
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
This unique and sacred place is a must see place in Ubud. There are many wild life inside the thick forest. Walk along the path under the shade and see many birds, lizards, butterflies and monkeys among the trees. It is a perfect set for the real wild life. There are 3 sacred temples to balance this area. Local people usually come to pray on a special ceremony day.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace
Drive to the north of Ubud to stop at the magical Tegalalang rice terrace to see the real traditional farmer activities in their daily activities. Have a short walk among the lush green rice field view.

5.00We went to see the rice paddies in an idyllic spot, not overcrowded with tourists. Then we went to a temple for purification, which again wasn't full of tourists, just us. Afterwards, we went to see a magnificent waterfall. We ate in a quiet, local spot in the middle of the rice paddies. Then we went to the Forest Monkeys and finally visited the Ubud temple. A day full of discoveries. Our guide Hendra was fantastic!

5.00We spent an absolutely awesome day exploring Ubud and its wonders: waterfalls, rice fields, temples, Monkey Forest... everything was beautiful 🤩 A huge thank you to our guide Hendra, who was simply amazing: very kind, passionate, attentive and always ready to share anecdotes about Balinese culture. He really made this day even more special. The lunch was also excellent, a real treat! We recommend this 100% experience to discover Ubud.
