We were a group of fifteen college students staying in Hanoi, and we wanted to experience everything Ninh Binh had to offer in a single day. From the moment we were picked up, we knew we were in good hands. Our driver, Hoah, got us there safely and comfortably, and our tour guide, Louis, made the entire day something we will be talking about for a long time. The hike up to the Buddhist temple was a highlight for all of us. The views from the top were stunning, and it was the kind of climb that felt rewarding the whole way up. We loved seeing the temples throughout the day, and Louis gave us so much context about each one that we walked away actually understanding the history and meaning behind what we were looking at, rather than just snapping a few photos and moving on. The boat tour was another favorite. Gliding through the water on the canoe and taking in the scenery was peaceful and beautiful, and it gave us a completely different perspective on the region. It was one of those experiences that you cannot fully appreciate until you are there in person. What truly set Louis apart was the combination of knowledge, communication, and flexibility. His English was perfect, and every single question we had, and with fifteen curious college students there were a lot of them, was answered clearly and patiently. Louis had a deep understanding of Vietnam, its culture, and its history, and he shared all of it in a way that kept us engaged the entire day. Most importantly, his flexibility was incredible. Whenever it seemed like we wanted to spend a little less time on one activity so we could spend more on another, Louis adjusted the plan without any hesitation. That kind of attentiveness made the day feel like it was built around us rather than around a rigid schedule. The food was absolutely phenomenal and was included as part of the trip, which was a wonderful surprise. We ate well and never had to worry about a thing. The cycling portion was another moment where Louis really shined. Not everyone in our group was an experienced cyclist, and some of us needed to stop to catch our breath or grab some water along the way. Every adjustment was handled with patience and care, whether it was helping someone who was not confident on a bike or simply making sure everyone stayed hydrated. Nobody felt rushed and nobody felt left behind. Throughout the entire day, Louis provided everything we could have needed, from water to translation to thoughtful guidance at every stop. We never had to ask twice, and we never felt like we were missing anything. If you are visiting Hanoi and considering a day trip to Ninh Binh, do yourself a favor and book with Louis and Hoah. They turned what could have been an ordinary day tour into one of the best parts of our entire trip to Vietnam. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Five stars without a doubt.

We had a great experience in Hanoi with our tour guide Jason and our driver WinWin. It was a private tour. The tickets were taken care of by tour guide. Jason took us around with patience and helped taking good pictures. The Tam CoC boat ride was wonderful with the paddy field views. The bicycling was a fun experience with amazing weather. I would recommend booking them for those who are looking for a pleasant vacation experience.

The trip was worth the money. Jason our tour guide was really patient and took a lot of good pictures. Driver Win Win was also very accommodative. Best part of the tour is the lotus pond and the tam coc boat ride. It rained a bit during our trip and the guide was prepared with umbrella and rain coat. Overall great experience

This was the only tour we took in a 12 day trip to Central and North Vietnam. It was our last day and we were tired and decided to splurge a bit and do a private gate tour. It was worth it. The guide and driver (Jason and Lien) were great. Jason speaks English well and the car was nice and clean. The tour was very versatile and we did not do everything we could have (we had climbed enough steps by this point). We did to a 2 hour boat ride which was quite beautiful and Jason showed much knowledge about Ninh Binh. This tour was perfect for a last outing.

The private tour for a day trip in Ninh Binh was great. They picked us up at our hotel, and our guide, Tran, was very knowledgeable about the area and Vietnamese history, so we were able to learn a lot. He was super helpful throughout the day and was aLeah’s enthusiastic. The activities were all well planned and time out, so we could enjoy it at a good pace before moving onto the next thing. The bike ride especially was an awesome way to see Ninh Binh and we got to stop and see lots of animals on the road. We definitely recommend for anyone interested in seeing Ninh Binh.
