Hoa Lu District
Tour guide will take you to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, built in 968, it remained capital until the early 11th century when Emperor Ly Thai To moved it to today’s Hanoi.

5.00We had a fabulous day with Jason on our Ninh Binh private tour. Glad we made the decision to do a private tour as there were so many big tour groups. Jason was excellent in navigating the crowds at Bich Dong, Hoa Lu and Mua Cave, especially as there was a light shower of rain which makes coming down the 500 stairs precariously slippery. Strongly advise walking poles to help you if you’re older or have knee/hip issues. Highlight was the boat ride through the caves, a lot of fun and a very relaxing way to see the scenery. The shot bike ride was also good going through the rice paddies and stopping for some great scenic photos. if you haven’t ridden in a while, the seats are very hard ;) The restaurant for lunch was very good and accommodated our food preferences. All in all we had a great day, thanks to Jason, and our very professional driver.

5.00Jason and Winwin are an excellent team and gave us the most amazing day touring Ninh Bin. Jason knowledge was mind blowing and I never seen better driving skills than we saw with Winwin. They even went out of their way and made a special trip for us. Made our first trip to Vietnam very memorable. Highly recommend the both of them.

5.00I booked a private tour of Ninh Binh for my friend and I VERY last minute (2 hrs before we wanted to leave) . Tu and his driver showed up and spent the entire day with us! Tu explained everything clearly and we learned so much about the Vietnamese culture just asking him questions on our two hour drive there from Hanoi. They were so professional and we (both women) felt so safe with them! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great tour and to feel safe and respected. The lunch they took us to was also phenomenal!!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday in Ninh Binh province, which was incredibly beautiful. Our guide, Gerry, did a wonderful job arranging and then re-arranging our activities during the day to avoid crowds and to maximize our time in nature. For example, we were going to start our day at Trang An, but Jerry called ahead to her colleagues to assess the crowds at the other sites and rearranged the day for us to start at Mua Cave. This was the right call because we were able to ascend the mountain without feeling rushed or crowded. We then spent about an hour on the Tam Coc River enjoying the beautiful scenery and caves. When we drove past the Trang A boat launch area, it was still packed and we would have probably still be there if Gerry hadn’t rearranged our day. The highlight of the day was biking through the valley and past the rice fields. There were very few bicyclists on the path and the experience was serene. It was the perfect way to unwind on a Sunday. Gerry and our driver, Tom, did a great job taking care of us, providing a wealth of information about the area and the history of Vietnam. We enthusiastically recommend this tour.
