We will pick up the guests at hotels/stays in Hanoi City then depart to Ninh Binh about 2 hours
Hoa Lu District
Tour guide will take you to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, built in 968, it remained capital until the early 11th century when Emperor Ly Thai To moved it to today’s Hanoi.

5.00We were picked up at our hotel by Louis and Duy, the tour could start! Louis speaks fine English and explains everything you pass on the way to Ninh Binh. The tour starts in a temple, then you take a walk through the beautiful nature. Then it’s time for an extensive lunch! After this we were supposed to do a bike ride but we chose to walk a bit. When the walking was done we went to the rowing boats for a nice trip between the rice fields. After this we visited the Mua Caves for a magnificent view of the landscape. Despite the weather we had a very nice day! Definitely recommended.

5.00Excellent tour. Well organized, with a brilliant guide in Mr Công and his superb driver. The tour has a nice balance of active (hiking, biking) and leisurely (lunching, boating) pursuits. The area is just stunning, and the history is captivating. Highly recommend !

5.00We had a fantastic private day tour from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and were really impressed with how smoothly everything was run. Our guide Louis was excellent – warm, knowledgeable, and full of energy throughout the day. He gave just the right amount of history and local insight without overwhelming us, and made sure everything moved at a comfortable pace. Highlights for us included the peaceful Tam Coc sampan boat ride, the beautiful countryside cycle, and the panoramic views after climbing the steps at Mua Cave – absolutely stunning! The visit to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital was also fascinating, with Louis bringing the past to life. From hotel pickup to drop-off, the whole day felt well-organised and personal. Big thanks to Louis for making it such a great experience — we’d definitely recommend this tour to others looking to explore Ninh Binh in comfort and style.

5.00Thomas was an excellent guide and the tour was wonderful, albeit a bit hot. First of August is probably not the best time to hike, bike, and climb stairs.
