Tour guide will take you to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, built in 968, it remained capital until the early 11th century when Emperor Ly Thai To moved it to today’s Hanoi.

STOP AT MUA CAVE: Where you will conquer 500 steps to the top of Lying Dragon mountain to take pictures of all amazing panorama.

5.00We did the Bai Dinh - Trang An - Mua Cave version of the tour with Jason as our guide and Winwin as our driver. It was a good experience - everything went smoothly and we were able to see more of the temple / do a longer boat tour than we would have on a group tour. Jason was happy to answer our questions and brought real energy to the tour. Winwin was able to ferry us around very efficiently.

5.00We had a fantastic day out with our tour guide Phil, who was incredibly knowledgeable and brought every sight to life with great insight and context. The tour was absolutely worth it and offered a wonderful perspective beyond Hanoi, showing us a completely different side of Vietnam. Tam Coc was a real highlight and left us wishing we had planned to stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper, more authentic experience.

5.00This was the most extraordinary day! Our guide and driver met us at our AirBNB and began with a brief history of Vietnam and then we set off on a completely rich experience that touched all our senses. Philip was incredibly flexible with our preferences and time management. He anticipated our timing needs, keeping us one step ahead of large tour groups which optimized our experience with premium photo ops. He was very patient with our needs and has a comprehensive knowledge to answer all our questions. I would highly recommend this company and experience.

Our day-trip to Nhin Binh was very enjoyable and our private tour guide Philip did an excellent job at planning our daily activities, list of sites to visit and the included lunch. Would highly recommend. For $115 USD per person, this was on the higher side for booking a one day trip, compared to booking a group tour where you’re a passenger on a private bus, and the fee for that is around $60 per person.

5.00Quang led my girlfriend and I on a tour in January 2026, and it was excellent. We visited Ninh Binh and the surrounding area, and Quang knew the best places to take us for fun activities while enriching our experience with some knowledge of both ancient and modern Vietnamese history. I would definitely do another tour with Quang and would recommend him to anyone coming to Vietnam looking for an English speaking tour guide. He also does tours of Ha Long Bay and other areas around Hanoi, which would love to visit on my next trip to Vietnam. Vietnam is a wonderful, vibrant country, and the people are kind and welcoming.
