  Hazem was an amazing guide. He took us around the city. We felt very safe. He gave us a full understanding of the Palestinian Israeli conflict and told us a lot of amazing stories. He took us to the Vinyard restaurant, and we had Maklouba, a local Palestinian food. Highly recommended.

  We had a fabulous day in Palestine with Hazem. Easy crossing at checkpoint 300. Then the day continued to Jordan river (baptismal site). Next we went to Jericho and took the tram up Mount Temptation and saw all the essential sites. Hazem was very knowledgeable. After we had lunch. Then on to Bethlehem, for the Church of Nativity. Before we left, we view the Banksy Museum and took a look at the wall. The day was excellent from a local perspective. I would highly recommend Hazem.

  If you would like to understand the Palestinian Israeli conflict then uou should book this tour with Hazem. He is very knowledgable and the best in Explaining the conflict. Highly recommended.

  Hazem is a very good Englishspeaker und knows absolutely EVERYTHING about his hometown Bethlehem. What ever you wanna know - ask him and you will get a very interesting answer. He really knows every single stone of this town and can tell you many local but also historic stories. He has an impressive network in Bethlehem which offers you the possibility to see special places. (For example: We‘ve been to a store for olivewood close to the nativity church. This store has a really nice rooftop for an amazing view about Bethlehems old town Centre.) Extra plus: He is a very smart and openminded guy, with the right sense of humor. We won‘t forget our time in Bethlehem. Thank you so much, Hazem!

  Our half-day tour of Bethlehem with Hazem Bannoura was one of the highlights of a very memorable trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories. He proved to be a knowledgeable and sympathetic guide to such essential historic sights as the Church of the Nativity, while also providing moving testimony as a Palestinian Christian living in the West Bank. It was a pleasure to spend time with him.

  My husband, two adult children, and I went on an 11-day tour of Israel and Jordan with Tauck. We arrived a day early to do an independent tour of Bethlehem with Hazem. Hazem asked us upfront what our interests were in visiting Bethlehem. He took us to see the Church of Nativity, the separation wall, and a refugee camp. We also got to have the most delicious herbal tea made by Sami (who had an appearance on the Conan O’Brien Show). We later learned that other tours of Bethlehem do not visit nearly as many places. Throughout our tour, Hazem spoke passionately about his experience as a Palestinian living in Bethlehem. Our day with Hazem ended up being the most insightful, compelling, and engaging experience of the entire trip.

  Hazem is a fantastic tour guide. It was a very enlightening experience learning from Hazem, a Palestinian Christian, about the history of Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and surrounding areas.

  I am a college-aged, Jewish Texan who decided to visit the West Bank with Hazem. It was a really great experience- we saw Hebron (Al Khalil), Ramallah, and Aida Refugee Camp, as well as the wall and the "Walled-Off Hotel". Hazem made me feel at home and safe and was really enjoyable to be around. I consider my time in Palestine to be one of the highlights of my trip to I/P and would recommend this tour to anyone interested or curious about the Palestinian perspective. Hazem is a good guy and has a fantastic network as well, so you are able to get around where you want to go and he will go the extra mile to help you (if needed). It is clear that his tours are a labor of love. Bonus points for him having studied in Texas. :)

  I feel so lucky to have come in contact with this tour group. These individuals are passionate and extremely knowledgeable about their home land. I went everywhere and there was not a stone unturned. I enjoyed every aspect of this tour and I promise you; you will leave with more then you bargained for.
