This trip is essential to understanding the Basque region. The towns we visited were spectacular and Alby was an amazing guide. He gave us plenty of time to explore on our own at every stop. Plus lunch was phenomenal.

Imanol was a great guide, the way the trip was designed was very effective for people of certain age and we saw a good number of places. Loved the French Basque Coast. Highly recommended.

This Tour is a great opportunity to see a little bit the French Basque country. We were so lucky to have Javier as our driver / Guide. He was fantastic ; super knowledgeable, very personable and a great attitude! The trip across the border is really a fairly short one. The first stop is Biarritz, a beautiful seaside town and home to many rich & famous residents. We had time to explore some really cute shops and cafes. You'll find no cheap & tacky tourist shops in this lovely city, they're all 'class'. Bayonne is the next and final stop before returning to Donostia and it possesses its own charms. It is quite a bit larger than Biarritz. We were able to spend 2 hrs here and the walking tour led by Javier was very informative. Lunch was delicious, followed by more shopping! I'm so glad we did this Tour!

We booked this small group tour that was limited to 6 people. Imagine our delight to find out we had this tour all to ourselves! We had Javier as our guide to Biarritz, Bayonne and St. Jean de Luc. Javier is the perfect guide - he is a native of this Spanish/French Basque region, he is very informative of the differences in culture between each region, he loves to talk about the past, present and future including economics and immigration, as well as providing his personal experiences of todays Basque region versus one of 30 or 40 years ago . The pace was perfect, the countryside was breathtaking, the towns were charming, and the scenery was unbelievable. Highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky you’ll have Javier guide you through your journey.

It was a great tour, Javier was very nice and knowledgeable, also very accommodating, we thought we had chosen the tour including St Jean de Luz, and he talked to the company and made sure we got the complete experience, obviously for a fee (very reasonable), but I’m glad we chose this tour.
