On this tour you will go with a local tour guide who is proud of his hometown and has the knowledge to explain everything about the history and wild life of the area, and loves riding on the Ixtapa Bicycle Path.
The tour will take place mostly in a beautiful tropical rainforest scenario where you will be riding on a comfortable mountain bicycles with a very clean bicycle path.

What To Expect
Marina Ixtapa Golf Club
Our accredited tour guide will show you the golf course, the marina yacht club and the beautiful residential area that surrounds the yacht club from the upper part of the Marina which makes it a great place to take pictures.
Our certified tour guide will continue going to the back of Ixtapa where you will enter the preserve area, the first half of the bicycle path will be on a tropical rainforest with a diverse flora and fauna of the region. It will be possible for you to see coatis, opossums, squirrels and chachalaca birds. On the second half of the preserve area, the ecosystem will be wetlands with different kinds of mangroves trees.

Fun jungle bicycle tour!

5.00Pablo gave us a great bicycle tour of the jungle on the way to Playa Linda. The bicycle path was paved and mostly flat so it wasn’t hard at all. It was fun to see all of the Mexican families doing this and not just tourists. Start early in the day before it gets too hot.

5.00We had such a great time on this biking tour—it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. It was perfect for our family, and everything we needed was provided, which made it super easy to just show up and enjoy. The ride was about 3 miles and took us through a really nice mix of city and nature. The nature preserve portion was especially memorable—we saw so many birds up close and even spotted crocodiles, which the kids thought was amazing (and a little thrilling). Luis was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area and shares information in a way that’s both educational and fun, without ever feeling like a lecture. He also made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe the whole time. Overall, it was relaxed, interesting, and just the right amount of adventure. We all came away having learned something new and had a genuinely fun time doing it. Would absolutely recommend, especially for families. I truly appreciate being able to send a brief text to Luis letting him know we'd like a tour and he comes back with options and the relevant info we need to make a decision. Not having to think about details is a GIFT to me! Thank you, Luis!!

5.00Trail has several inclines, though nothing crazy, you can get off and walk the bike. At the end of the trail, Luis will explain the type of birds we see, as well as alligators and iguanas. Great way to start the morning with a work out.

5.00It's a great bike ride to Playa Linda...good bike path a couple of inclines, but you either bike it up or walk the bike. At the end of the bike path, you will see various types of birds, alligators, and the famous iguanas. Luis speaks English well and knows his history. Good morning work out!

5.00We had a great time on this bicycle tour. Pablo guide was friendly and caring, always checking on us making sure we weren’t left behind. We rode through gated communities in Ixtapa and through a lovely trail in the rain forest to Playa Linda. We stopped and spotted iguana, crocodiles, wood strocks and cute roseate spoonbills! Overall it was a great experience.

5.00We had a wonderful experience on this bicycle tour. Pablo our guide was friendly and very knowledgable about the area. We were picked up on time from our hotel by Luis. He had a selection of bikes for all sizes and in very good condition. We rode through gated communities in Ixtapa and through a lovely trail in the rain forest to Playa Linda. We stopped and enjoyed eating coconut and mangoes. Overall a great experience.
