We had several drivers through the day as we navigated through the city. I was very disappointed in this tour as the drivers did not offer any help as to what was coming next or times of arrival. Other drivers would often hop on the bus to talk about personal matters while we sat on the bus waiting to go to the next stop. Sometimes at great length. The audio part of the tour was not thought out and talked more about mundane fact rather than the architecture and facts about the many wonderful buildings around the city. However, ONE driver was a singular bright spot. We asked for her name, Tyrika Kale. She was friendly, helpful to every passenger, and navigated the streets with efficiency and professionalism. I was shocked when she informed me that she had only worked for the company for a few months. In my opinion she out shone every other driver by far. She deserves to be recognized for excellence. I hope you take my advice to heart and make the adjustments needed.

Tyrika Kate truly made the entire experience amazing! Before we met her, the tour had been pretty disappointing, but she completely turned it around. Her friendliness, professionalism, and confidence navigating the streets of DC made all the difference. And wow she can DRIVE that big bus! My sisters and I were so impressed and incredibly grateful to have had her to redeem the atrocity beforehand.

I booked a train trip to DC for my elderly mother's birthday. I purchased 4 tickets online for the Big Bus Tour, and the only good experience was the tour guide apologies and hospitality she showed back at the train station. The day was a very cool one so we had to sit on the lower level but bus heater literally felt like someone turn on the oven and we were roasting it in. We all were miserable, especially my 86 year mother. However we endured it to the end of the ride. Also, the roof of the bus was torn and hanging, nearly touching our head. The speakers were malfunctioning, so no sound was coming through the earphones; we had to listen the best could from a distance. My mother wears a hearing aid but didn't have it on, she couldn't hear a thing without the earphone. It was such a disappointment. I was embarrassed--it being a surprise celebration for my mother and other family members I brought along to enjoy.

Lena made our Big Bus Tour in DC a joy! We bought four tickets for our family trip to Washington DC, and thank goodness we had Lena as our guide on the bus. Her hospitality was next level! She made sure we got from one destination to the next, spent extra time chatting with us, and even walked around the train station with my family to show us exactly where to go so we wouldn’t miss our train home. She felt like family—warm, friendly, kind, and so thoughtful. If you’re doing the Big Bus tour, hope you get Lena; she’s the best! -Michelle

Overall experience on the busses was poor. Many of the audio devices were broken so it was hard to hear. Busses were too crowded so we could not sit together as a family. Attractions were so close we could have just walked to them, and we would have been better served just taking an Uber to the ones farther away

Typically Kale the driver was pointing out so many great things and at the end she was kind enough to wait on us so we could get some great pics at the White House

Other than the near impossibility of finding where to hop-on at Union Station and the long wait for the bus to show up (several Trolley buses came and went as we were waiting -- waiting not good as the clock on 24 hours ticks down), the experience was good. Definitely get the earbuds for the audio commentary. Some of the commentary is a bit cheesy, but overall still worth it.

It is difficult due to DC normal traffic but lots of good information . The listening guide makes it easy to understand

It was terrible. We only made 3 stops because there were like only 3 buses running. We canceled our second day. We waited over an hour and then had to taxi to the next stop instead.
