Bus stops were a little tricky and I found we waited for the Big Bus. Other sight seeing busses passed us more. One stop was closed by The British Museum but the app directed us that way and we waited a bit before realizing. Not sure I’d do it again.

Thoroughly enjoyed out Christmas Lights tour. Our guide, Andrew (ably assisted by Kadir the driver) was full of information, anecdotes and historical facts as we took in the sights and sounds of London’s West End.

The Big Bus tour were really helpful and made us feel very welcome. Drivers and the other staff on the pavement went above and beyond to help me, my colleague and eight young adult students with learning disabilities. We alternated between the red route and the blue route. All the staff we dealt with polite, friendly and knowledgeable. A special mention to Dean who was driving the blue route on the afternoon/early evening of 17th December 2025 - what a superstar!

The tour was amazing, I travelled with my Mom and we decided not to leave the bus just enjoy the daytime-evening tour from the upper level of the bus. And we enjoyed the entire route, we were fortunate to have a nice weather and eyewitnessing many historical landmarks, sight-seeings and emblematic sites during this trip. It worths absolutely every penny.

Don’t believe the £29 price. It’s only for Wednesday and you have to pre book, you get charged £39 if you hop on, despite the website saying you can pay on board. Driver was miserable. Toot Bus is a better choice.

Wanted a nice overview tour of London. Found a stop near our hotel, which was great. Heard Sunday morning was better bc of traffic, so we did that. Got on an empty bus, so we got primo seats up front on top. Driver didn’t turn on the audio until I asked. Probably didn’t matter bc the audio wasn’t great. Talked about things we were near, but they were mostly random and it was hard at times to determine exactly where the things that they were talking about were. It was also chilly- not the Big Bus fault, but something to consider. We ended up getting off after an hour. Family was disappointed. Bug waste of money.

This was fantastic. With the Hop-On/Hop-Off you not only get the opportunity to see the sights and tour the landlarks, but you can also hop-on and Hop off at shopping areas and taste the different foods along the route and then hop-on and return to the hotel or Airbnb. I would recommend the Hop-On/Hop-Off to all who would like to build their own experience.

We had a short time to see all the sights. We loved that we could see it all first then choose a few things to see more of to optimize our time. Audio was good, lots of history
