Great way to see London! London is huge, so we took this tour as a way to see the neighborhoods and decide which areas to revisit later in our trip. The tour hit all the top sites and did not disappoint!

It was a great experience the information given over the headset was right on. The only problem is that the bus stops running at 6 PM and we did not see the small print on the receipt telling us that signs should be all over the bus to let you know the time it stops running we got stuck and had to take the underground back to our hotel.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience that I cannot recommend. We arrived in London on April 8 after an overnight flight, and I chose this tour hoping it would be a relaxing way to see the city on our first day. Instead, it was stressful from the start. The buses were extremely crowded, and several times we had to stand. Because of that, we couldn’t plug in our headphones or listen to the recorded commentary, which defeats the purpose of a sightseeing tour. The staff were not particularly helpful, and it was often unclear where we were supposed to board or which stops were correct, especially at the beginning. Like many hop on hop off buses, this one runs on a one way loop, and with London traffic, it can take a very long time to get anywhere. Combined with the hot buses, crowded conditions, and uncooperative staff, the experience was far from enjoyable. Overall, this was not the relaxing introduction to London we hoped for, and I would not recommend this tour.

Excellent way to get around London! Hop on/off super easy! Busses on time and app is excellent for keeping you up to date with changes. Make sure to use headphones for guide! The river cruise was one of the most entertaining things we did in London!

We loved the BigBus/ best city tour we have used! Lots of information, stops announced clearly. Only issue was not clear instructions from the bus driver when the hours are ending and how the routes stop. This issue resulted in us being at the far end of the blue line at 6:30 pm when we were told to vacate. Because of the tube workers on strike we had to figure out how to get back near the #12 stop area. It was very cold that day so was very uncomfortable. If this policy is listed somewhere, it should be more prominent.

Overall I found this company ok however they have a lot of mechanics that they need to work on before offering services to customers. The organization is confusing. I along with many customers were confused about which ride to get on. Communication with customers goes a long way especially when we are sitting for long period of time and the customer had ask when we are going. People ended up leaving the bus. Unfortunately I was unable to use the cruise feature because of it taking a long time to get to the destination. By the time I got there they were closed. We had to essentially walk to our hotel. I did request a refund for partial of the trip however it was denied. I’m not trying to totally put this service down but as I stated earlier, my experience could have been better. Also, the locations to ride, not clearly defined. We waited at a wrong spot for about 20 minutes. Needless to say we probably will not be using this particular company again.

We chose the Blue Route which covered a large expanse of London, giving great views of special buildings and parks etc. There were a number of areas we had not been to before, so an ongoing commentary was very useful.
