I took a solo trip to London for Christmas and took Big Bus's Hop-On Hop-Off Tour on Boxing Day. It was exactly what I needed--a little bit of information about all the sights, easy to find bus stops, and an excellent app experience.

Big Bus was a brilliant way to see London. We were able to sit back and enjoy all the iconic sights and monuments without worrying about navigating the city. From Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the London Eye, it covered all the must-see spots. The commentary was informative and entertaining, and it gave us a great overview of London in a short amount of time. Perfect for getting your bearings and soaking up the city.

Even with the rain, we had a fabulous day on the Big Bus! Employees Uthman and Wayne were particularly wonderful. They were very friendly and offered a lot of help as we navigated the unfamiliar city. We didn’t realize our ticket came with a short yet entertaining river cruise, which was a really fun surprise bonus. Overall, it was a great day and I highly recommend the experience.

50vpounds per person is a rip-off. Better to take tube to places you want to see, daily maximum tube fare in zones 1/2 is like 9 pounds. That leaves you 41 pounds for two orders of London fish&chips.

Really enjoyed it, was great activity to do on a rainy day visiting all the sites. Only downside was that I wish the buses came around more frequently, think wait time between buses was avg 30 minutes, so could end up having to wait quite a bit for the next bus if you do hop off. Visits to all major sites in London, and also the app is very helpful for tracking the buses, finding the stops and additional info. There were a few unnecessary wait times in my opinion, on one bus we were sat waiting on the bus as they were doing a driver change over.

We were a group of 8 which enjoyed this wonderful option to know the city for 2 days, we loved it, we saw what we wanted to see in the tranquility of Big bus, going down in areas of more interest to us

always nice to take his buses to 2 level and visit London with an audio guide. The waiting time between 2 buses can be very long: more than 45 minutes we finished on foot. it would be convenient to see on the app, the arrival time of the next bus. It would be useful to know when and at what stop the bus leaves us in the evening.

City River cruise was great. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Snacks and drinks on board great way to see London. Big Bus hop on hop off started out well with friendly, helpful staff and ear buds to listen to the audio tour. Then about three quarters of the way through the employee at the stop left and no bus showed up. Three other tour operators’ buses came by two or three times and still no Big Bus. I ended up walking and using the Underground for the rest of my day. Disappointing for sure.
