Your day begins with a pick-up from your accommodation by your guide who will assist you throughout the tour. Enjoy the drive through the scenic Cape Winelands and countryside.
At Big Five Game Reserve, you will be welcomed and enjoy a delicious lunch in a relaxing setting. After lunch, embark on a sunset game drive lasting about two hours and 30 minutes in an open safari vehicle with your guide sharing insights about the wildlife.
During the drive, spot the Big Five including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards, along with giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and various birds. As the sun sets, the reserve transforms into a stunning golden landscape, perfect for photos and memorable moments.
After the safari, your guide will take you back to your accommodation, concluding a day of wildlife and scenic beauty.

Upon arrival at Game Reserve, your guide will greet you and you’ll start with a hearty lunch in a scenic setting, the perfect way to relax before the adventure begins. After lunch, you’ll board an open safari vehicle for a sunset game drive lasting approximately two hours and 30 minutes. As the sun dips toward the horizon, you’ll explore the reserve with a knowledgeable guide, spotting wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards, the iconic Big Five, along with giraffes, zebras, and many other fascinating animals. 5.00I recently did the Big Five Sunset Safari with lunch with a group of friends, and it was a really great experience overall. Everything was well organized, and the staff were friendly from the start. The lunch was fresh and surprisingly good, which made the day even better. The safari itself was the highlight. The views at sunset were beautiful, and we managed to see a good variety of animals. Our guide was knowledgeable and kept things interesting without overdoing it. Going with friends made it even more enjoyable. Definitely something I’d recommend if you’re around Cape Town and looking for a memorable experience.
