  Highly recommend this experience. We were picked up promptly by James in the center of town in a new sprinter van- James drove us about 20 minutes north to Hawea, and proceeded to give us a great safety overview and demonstration of our e-bikes, which were also new and high quality (even had a "turbo" esque mode to them). We were sent on our way and I was overwhelmed the rest of the ride at the breathtaking scenery we rode through. Prairie, mountain ranges in the background, rivers along the path, cool dirt trails- it was spectacular. We even got to stop at an icecream spot on the route- what more could you ask for? One of the highlights of our time in New Zealand.

  Great bike ride between Lake Hawea and Lake Wānaka on e-bikes… almost 20 miles but on r-bikes very doable with the up and down of the terrain. David was a very fun and funny guide to our starting point. Highly recommend!!!

• Great way to explore Wanaka

  A good way to see more about Wanaka! Well-organized transport, good instructions were given so that the trail was easy to follow. Beautiful scenery along the way, lots of places to stop to admire the view or for a swim. Meeting point is at a carpark, not a bike rental shop.

  Lucky to have perfect weather for riding the bike trails around Lake Hawea, Clutha River and Lake Wanaka. Ahead of the day, we received clear comms about what to expect, and the trail was explained on the drive out to the drop off point. I was really happy with the quality of the pedal assist e-bike, and the explainer briefing at the beginning on correct use. The ride is self navigating which meant you could manage your own pace and explore a bit more independently- just ensuring the bike was returned to the collection point in Wanaka by the specified time. The views along the trails are excellent. It’s the best way to see the lakes without getting into the air.
