Leipzig has a lot to offer not only culturally, but also scenically : From historic parks to urban forest areas to lakes and rivers. This bike tour connects one of the most beautiful routes with one of the most popular excursion destinations.
The tour will take you quietly to one of Europe's largest restoration projects : the New Lakeland. Where brown coal was mined 35 years ago, today there is an extensive lake landscape with a dense network of paths and attractive leisure activities.
Follow the guide on a fun excursion; discover Leipzig from its green and picturesque side - including floodplains, Elster meadows and Lake Cospuden.
• Enjoy a private tour, just for you and your group.
• Take advantage of new bicycles from a professional rental company.
• Benefit from tips and recommendations from a local.

Bernd was an excellent guide and spoke good English. He kept the right pace and gave us a lot of facts during the tour. Lunch was also very well chosen.

We really enjoyed our tour. We were a bit skeptical at first whether four hours was not too long. But it was worth it every minute! Our guide informed us in an entertaining way, sharing his inside knowledge and making the tour an experience. We recommend the tour 100%!

Great bike ride. From the meeting point in the city center we went with our guide through the city park to the New Lakeland, once around the Cossi (Cospudener See) and through the floodplain forest back to Leipzig. We thought it was great. Maybe you could also offer the tour with e-bikes?

Our guide put a lot of effort into it and talked a lot about the New Lakeland. It was a really great tour that I can recommend to every visitor to Leipzig.
