Ever wondered what does the bird paradise look like? The Bird Watch tour will give you precisely that - the sense of freedom and wilderness.
The shallow waters of the Curonian Lagoon share the confluence of the Nemunas and the Minija Rivers, where bulrush kingdom provides a shelter for millions of birds that migrate through these territories every season.
We will take you to the “hard to reach” spots that are only accessible by canoe. Thus, paddlers will admire the beauty and grace of the resting birds and undoubtedly the most spectacular panorama of the Nemunas River delta.

We will start with a briefing, introduction to canoe paddling and will practice some basic canoe strokes in the local marina. We will paddle to our first stop for approximately forty minutes. A short coffee break with snacks and we are ready to enter the shallow waters of the Curonian Lagoon. The local feathered inhabitants will probably be aware of our arrival long before we will see them, so get ready to bog down into bulrush and water lilies. There is not that much camouflage options for the “sitting duck's” like us. Depending on the season, we may see red-necked grebe, bittern, white-tailed eagle, Montagu’s Harrier, cormorants, swans and many more. There are 170 different species of birds here in total, and if we are lucky enough, we might see the most gracious of them. After changing a couple of spots, your guide will take some stunning pictures of you paddling. You will also get some pictures taken from a drone! On our way back, depending on the tide and the weather, we will visit the Uostadvaris Lighthouse built in 1876 or/and the Cape Vente ornithological station with its modern exhibition and a great observation tower.

We had a wonderful adventure as a family, got the fauna expertly explained and spotted many interesting birds. Janis’ explanations about canoeing turned newcomers into little professionals within the tour and we immediately felt our element. Highly recommended in the area Klaipeda - Kurusches Lagoon.

We had a wonderful time on this canoeing and birdwatching adventure! The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were also excited to see over 50 different species, which the guides kept track of for us. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves birdwatching, canoeing, or exploring unique ecosystems!

The tour was very well organised and communication before the tour was great as well. The canoeing was great especially because of the beautiful nature. Also, it was very peaceful since we were basically the only group out in the water (besides some fishermen). We saw several birds including eagles. Boris and Janis explained everything really well. Boris even knows the birds' names in your language which can be very helpful ^^ (in my case German). The little break in between the canoeing gives you a perfect chance to chat with the other tour participants. I would definitely go with Janis and Boris again.

It was awesome trip with spectacular view and sounds of nature, great guides (Borisas and Janis) and friendly chat over a fresh made cup of coffee. It’s a great opportunity to discover and enjoy avian diversity in Nemunas Delta with professional guide by your side. This activity is suitable (and absolutely safe) for adventure seekers of all ages, including kids . You may just simply enjoy a moment of tranquility, being surrounded by magnificent landscape, and don’t worry about capturing it in a photo, as the guide will do that for you and just few days after the trip you’ll receive a professional set of photos to your email. I highly recommend this trip as a romantic getaway for couples, or family vacation, or fun outdoor activity for friends and colleagues, and anyone who is looking for adventure, great memories and admire nature in general. This was absolutely the best way to spend our wedding anniversary. Thank you and good luck!

It was inspiring morning trip on hand made canoes: safe, kids-friendly and yet full of new experiences. You get the instructions, binoculars and the guidance (Boris - the birds, Janis - canoeing) through silent waters full of life. Also, you get morning coffee and biscuits served on the river bank. Very different from everything else you do by the sea, slow and sustainable. Birds, of course, will surprise you. I would recommend this to everyone wishing to get closer to the nature, to know more about the birds. It is also nice experience to do this with family and friends. Thank you!

Two months after the tour and it stil remains one of the best summer events! We saw and heard 40 species, were told engaging (!!!) stories, debunked myths and had some thought tingling conversations on current environmental affairs. Both guides were very knowledgeable, engaging, down to earth, caring about our experience and most importantly passionate about what they do 👏 The tour is very easy going, we were looked after well and it flew by quickly but 2 months into the summer we still talk about it and recall it fondly 👏

Wonderful trip in wildlife! If you are looking for adventure I recomend to take a birdwatch. Beutiful nature, tranquility, many species of birds, new experience with canoe, wonderul picnic and perfect guide. Everyone from our group (9 person) said the same, that the trip exceeded all of their expectations. First time from so close we saw a sea eagle and one of the most beautiful bird in Lithuania - Common kingfisher and of course many other species of birds. Janis and Boris you are the best!

Early morning spent in a nice handmade canoe was something spectacular - unique beauty of Nemuno Delta combined with dozens of bird species around creates a relaxing ambience that you cannot find anywhere else.
