Sydney Zoo – Sydney’s newest zoo is located on our way to the Blue Mountains. This is a great opportunity to meet Australian wildlife such as Kangaroo, Koala, Dingo, Wombat, Tasmanian Devil, Echidna and more. You can also meet African and Asian animals! (Cheetah, lion, Red Panda, Elephant, Sumatran Tiger and more).
The best place to view the wilderness of the Blue Mountains (away from the large buses – big Coaches DO NOT have access at Kings Tableland)

5.00This was a long day but well worth every minute. Not a good choice for families with young children. The additional price for 2 adults going to zoo and the cable cars was less than $200 so it was a very reasonable tour. Les was the best tour guide we have ever experienced. Beyond his extensive knowledge of the country he has a wonderful sense of humor. His scientific knowledge of animals, plants and the environment was incredible. Highly recommend the tour to see some of the most breathtaking views this world has to offer.

5.00Our tour guide, Les Goldsworthy, was fantastic! During the drives, he was very entertaining and informative, and he didn’t talk non-stop! He got us into the Sydney Zoo 30 minutes before opening and gave us tips how to visit the zoo which were very helpful at making the most of our time! He took us to places that weren’t crowded with other tour groups, and where we got to see beautiful & unique views of the Blue Mountains! The ferry ride back ended in Sydney Harbor where we had amazing views of the Sydney Opera House lit up at night!
Our tour leader Les made the trip GOLDEN!!

5.00Aside from a hiccup with our shuttle pick-up time, our tour leader / bus captain, Les Goldsworthy, made it a 5-star experience. Lots of education and fun dad jokes throughout the trip. The your got us into the Sydney Zoo 30-45 min before it opened to the public which gave us quicker and easier access to the Koala exhibits. The Scenic Mountain tour was awesome, too. Again, we got their on the earlier side to beat the crowds and enjoyed the Gondola rides, the "backwards" / vertical train ride and amazing views. This tour is a MUST due if you are visiting Sydney for 4 to 7 days. Make sure your bus tour guide is Les and you will be in good hands. Maybe take some dramamine for Dad jokes. 😜

5.00Value for money trip. Yes zoo and cable cars were more. Yes it tried to cater for all. But like all good tours it went as fast as all 28 people could cope. So if you want a tour where you rush and hike long distances this maybe is not for you. But it gives you a good taste of the area in one day and maybe you mushroom from it to what meets or personal needs. Les was a Fun Guide and I would very much recommend this for all who need a good tour and a taste for what you can do, hope people feel as blessed as my wife and I do having spent a good day on this tour.
