  Good value. Bus was on time and easy to navigate. Would of liked to see the route run in opposite directions so you didn’t have to ride entire loop if you chose to do an earlier stop later In the day as many stops are within walking distance of each other.

  Very disappointing and expensive for what you get. Buses only come to each stop every hour. One of the buses didn’t even come so we had to get a local bus. Honestly save money and time and just travel on local buses (that come every 15 minutes).

  We booked the Katoomba Lyrebird Hop On Hop Off bus and Scenic World one day passe through Get Your Guide. Upon arrival, we received a helpful booklet with full details on how the route works. We were advised to visit Scenic World as early as possible to avoid crowds, and that turned out to be great advice - it got busy quickly. The Scenic Railway was closed for scheduled maintenance, which we knew in advance, so that didn’t affect our experience. Everything else was fantastic. The views were absolutely stunning, and the bus guide was very informative throughout the tour. Overall, it was a brilliant day out and an experience I’d definitely recommend.

  Easy to book - viator sent me email with QR code. Bus driver writes date on booklet which becomes your ticket. And then called the office to get my booking code for the included Scenic World rides. Stops at convenient locations around Katoomba, Scenic World and Leura. Get off one stop, walk along the Prince Henry Cliff walk and get back on at the next stop. Runs every hour but doesnt sit waiting for the exact departure time at each stop, so best to get to your stop 5min early. Drivers are friendly and helpful. And the booklet you get is so comprehensive to make the most of your stay, inluding hiking trail information. Very impressed with this service.

  When I ordered online, I thought I could only use it for one day, and after looking carefully, I only knew I could use it for three days. Over the past three days, I have met five drivers more than ten times, each of whom is very close to the elderly people who will wait to sit down and drive, it is a good company to recommend.

  

  

  

• Great way to explore the blue mountains!

  I would highly recommend using the explorer bus if you are doing a day trip to the blue mountains. Both of the bus drivers were very kind and knowledgeable about the mountains, and we really enjoyed the commentary whilst riding between destinations. The buses were pretty much always on time to the minute, which was really helpful! A few of the walks were closed when we visited, to no fault of this company, but just make sure you check when planning your walks. We purchased the Lyrebird pass which included scenic world, which I would also recommend, although it is very busy with tours so get there early. The explorer bus is just such a great way to explore the blue mountains!

  We had Damien as our bus driver most of the day he was excellent at his job, gave plenty of information regarding stops. The booklet was very thorough and plenty of things to see and do. Would recommend extending pass if staying a few days.
