Mike treated us to a wonderful day visiting the Featherdale Aussie Animal Park and a beautiful waterfall hike. We got to hand feed kangaroos and got a close up pic with a koala. Our hike was filled with amazing views. All in all a wonderful day!

Once picked up at our hotel, James, the driver informed us the price only included the drive and not admission to the wildlife park or scenic world. For 2 people we paid €495 so this felt like poor value for money. On hindsight, an Uber/hire car would be much cheaper option to get to Blue Mountain. We paid the additional cost anyway but when the driver took us to scenic world at the end of the tour, we had less than one hour before it closed. They were closing the park and we were the last to leave. As a result we missed out on doing the skyway as by the time we got there it was closed and much too late. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed. We informed the driver who had not realised the timings and he didn't even apologise. It was his responsibility to ensure the day was planned well. We would have happily skipped lunch had we known the timing was tight but unfortunately this was never communicated. We paid double the price for 2 people when it would have cost the driver half the price had one person reserved. In my opinion, there should have been a discount as this was very expensive. Lastly, we didn't come away educated about anything from a tourist perspective. All in all very disappointing. This is the first and only time I have provided negative feedback on Viator.

Mike was a great tour guide but make sure you advise him what your priorities are before you leave because of time frame of all the things to see. We didn’t get a chance to take the ferry back and if time allowed would have loved to do that. the Blue Mountain sites were amazing Loved the featherdale animal park. Didn’t realize our last priority was stopping at the UGG store. Highly recommend this tour

We appreciated the different vantage points that we were taken too. We really enjoyed scenic world and would recommend. It was nice to hear AU facts from a local !

Our experience visiting the Blue Mountains was absolutely phenomenal what with the clear blue winter sky, Panoramic misty mountain views, loud waterfalls and delightful birds cuckooing. This however was marred by our guide who lacked professionalism throughout the trip by sharing personal details, awkward jokes and overall being very cynical. We also had an infant with us and had stated that we wanted to be back early but he didn’t take that into account and just lived the day that he wanted. We were unfamiliar with the routes and so trusted that he would tame the schedule to fit our constraints with a young baby but that did not happen. Also, the constant hovering of the guide even during lunch made the whole trip less than enjoyable. The trip up and the blue mountains were delightful but the tour guide experience left much to be desired.
