The scenery was spectacular once the clouds cleared. The excursion had to be adapted due to weather, but Ben, our driver made the best out of a tough situation. He gave us a great history of Australia as we were driving and we stopped at a lively pub for lunch. The weather improved in the afternoon and we were able to take in the spectacular views and he even drove us back to see the Three Sisters. It was a full day and I would recommend a visit to the Blue Mountains.

At first, we were a bit nervous because the tour didn’t have a lot of ratings yet, but we absolutely loved the tour. Our tour guide Ben was an excellent guide and driver was always easy to talk to and showed us a lovely place to have lunch. We arrived at the animal park so early that it wasn’t crowded and we could see the animals. After that, we walked down to the Wentworth falls. That was 1 hour of walking with lots of stairs that will give your legs a nice workout but the view is absolutely worth it- just wear appropriate shoes and Always keep one hand on the rail as it can get slippery. After climbing back up we saw another scenic view point and after that we enjoyed a delicious lunch in Lura. Next up were the three sisters and after that some more beautiful and breathtaking scenic view points that were rather secret as they weren’t crowded at all. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we thank Ben a lot for making this small group tour, an amazing experience! We definitely recommend this tour ( to everyone with a decent fitness level)

The tour we booked and the tour we received were 2 very different things. The tour had listed multiple hikes, going over the Sydney Harbor Bridge, and a hour at the Featherdale Nature Park BEFORE it opened, which did not happen. We received an hour at the nature park but it was once it opened and was very crowded after 20 minutes with large groups. The longest time spent hiking was 5 minutes each way and they were simple hikes to and from vs the 1 1/2 hour guided circuits that were listed when we booked the ticket. We understand adjustments sometimes need to be made but they were not communicated. Our guide was also very new and was indecisive, asking the group how much time we wanted at different stops rather than telling us what was recommended. No one in the group wanted to speak up so it all felt very haphazard. Overall, it was not a bad trip but we booked the trip specifically for the hour at the nature park before it opened, as well as the specific hikes/guided circuits that were listed.

Katia picked us up at our hotel and gave an informed tour on the way to the Blue Mountains. We stopped at the nature preserve to pet and feed so many Australian animals roos, wombats to name a few! This was an amazing treat. We stopped at several look out spots with amazing views. Ended with a scenic hike around waterfalls in the Blue Mountain. It was the perfect day!
