Tour guide Scotty from Diamond Tours made all the difference! He talked about the indigenous beliefs of the Seven Sisters and how the Three remained. Fog in the mountains reminiscent of the Smoky Mountains in the US made the Three Sisters impossible to see. Scotty drove to a different lookout which improved the view. Scenic World was great. Impressive views from the Skyway and Cableway. The Railway traveling in reverse was definitely a different experience. Scotty was a fount of knowledge, narrating as we walked the Scenic Walkway. Weather improved and he pointed out the best view yet of the Three Sisters. The Coal Mine would have been easy to miss had Scotty not pointed out the sculptures of the miner and his horse. The walkways through the natural habitat of the Sydney Zoo was unexpected. Signs to remember to close the gates were a reminder that the "residents" could conceivably wander around. The koalas were awesome - then the guttaral sound emanating from one was a reality check! The Tasmanian Devil looked as if it might attempt to get up close and personal. Definitely encouraged me to move along to see the next captive species! Really glad I took this tour! CONS: My tour instructions were to be at the meeting place 5 - 10 minutes prior to 0645. I arrived at 0610 and people were waiting. Two mini-vans arrived at 0620 and I thought, had I not been early, I would have missed the tour! Wrong! Neither was my tour. Contacted Viator via chat only to learn my departure time was 0715, not 0645. I took the train and had unnecessarily walked in the dark to arrive neatly and hour in advance. I attribute that error to Viator, not to Diamond Tours. A group of 6 French-speakers (from Quebec, I think) were on the tour. One elbowed her way in front of me as we were in line to get on the van. She was a rude woman whose demeanor didn't improve during the tour. Members of the six spoke among themselves as Scotty attempted to narrate on the van. They were loud enough to warrant his politely asking that they refrain long enough to allow him to finish. Maybe it's a Quebeçois thing and was perfectly normal to thing. I found it rude and disrespectful. How ironic, as I am a US American. Thanks Bad Bunny for the reminder that the Quebeçois (and the rest of Canada and 33 other countries) are also American! Perhaps a tour can be offered in French, if it isn't already an option. Breakfast stop was interesting because of the Founder's story that Scotty shared. Food was OK. Multiple lunch options - I opted to sleep instead. Breakfast was cashless.

Amazing day! It started with Lloyd picking us up early at 7 am then spending the first half of the day seeing the wonders of the Blue Mountains. Truly awe inspiring! 3 sisters are a wonder. Lloyd was the best possible guide as he introduced us to his close personal friends, the kangaroos at the Sydney zoo.

Scotty was great. He was knowledgeable, funny and knew all the details of the tour. Best zoo experience ever. The animals were alive and the tigers were playful. The koalas were cute, the kangaroos were plenty, the tigers were playful. The bus was comfortable. I highly recommend this tour especially with Scotty.
