    First of all, our driver/guide, Phil, is a hero. We had the worst weather, fog so thick he couldn't see more than a few meters ahead of the van for a large portion of the trip. Needless to say, we never saw the Blue Mountains. All the lookouts were for naught, we saw a little something in the rainforest walk, but really, it was a crap day. Like being stuck inside a cloud all day. The zoo was fun, feeding the roos and emu was awesome, and then it started raining again. Ferry was great. Phil is amazing, funny, kind, decent and a good dude all around.

    We had the unfortunate luck to experience thick fog most of the excursion, so views were obscured, or lacking. Our guide, Lloyd, did a bang up job keeping us entertained dispite the inclement weather. The trip was well organized and went off like clockwork. Our favorite part was the Sydney zoo, where we saw animals we had only seen pictures of before. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience.

    Despite rainy weather, we had a great day! Our tour guide Lloyd kept spirits up, kept it fun, and gave us great information about the area. The rainforest at scenic world was gorgeous even with mist covering the mountains, we were still able to see some beautiful views of the valley. Towards the end of the day we stopped at Sydney zoo which was lots of fun and we got to feed the kangaroos as well! Overall a really nice tour!

  • Great alternative to hiking in Blue Mountains

    We had one day to try to see the blue mountains and few animals in Sydney before flying home after a cruise. Because my walking is limited and time was an issue this day trip fit our needs very well Jon our driver a guide was very interesting and made our day filled with great experiences. Alternatives for spouses to pursue more hiking or leisurely sightseeing, fit our needs very well. Our driver even found us an alternative ferry because a late returning passenger made us miss our original ferry time.

    We had an amazing experience during our recent trip to the Blue Mountains and Sydney Zoo, thanks to our tour guide, Lloyd. From start to finish, Lloyd was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to everyone’s needs. It felt so personal because he even memorized all our names and where we are from. He shared interesting facts about each destination, told great stories, and made the whole tour fun and engaging. His professionalism and warm personality made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. We also appreciated how organized he was—everything ran smoothly and on time. Lloyd truly went above and beyond to make the day memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!
