What To Expect
Lungomare Di Gaeta
Cast off the moorings we will admire the Gulf of Gaeta, the ancient fortifications, the Bastions, the Church of San Francesco and the Cathedral of Sant'Erasmo, which dominate the Gulf.
Castello Angioino
After passing the Gulf, we will go around Punta Stendardo and see the other fortifications, the Borgo Antico above the cliff, the Church of San Giovanni a Mare, literally overlooking the sea. Then we will enter the blue oasis of Monte Orlando, where we will admire the Castle both in the Angevin and in the Aragonese parts. In the past the Castles were maximum security prisons, famous in the phrase "I'm sending you to Gaeta". The commander will tell the story of the city and the castles. The duration corresponds to the time taken to reach the attraction, there is no disembarkation from the boat.

5.00A wonderful boat trip around a stunning part of the coast. The company gave great instructions and communications prior to the trip. The check in was smooth and easy. The trip itself was not rushed giving plenty of time to look at the landmarks as we passed. The skipper gave great explanations in English about what we could see. The swimming/snorkelling area was beautiful with plenty of time to explore. We managed to see plenty of fish. We really appreciated the snorkels and pool noodles

5.00Had the most fabulous afternoon in Gaeta. Half an hour on a boat along the stunning coastline to our swimming spot with crystal clear, perfect temperature water and finished the return trip spritz in hand. Noodles available - perfect to lazily float! Pedro and the captain (can't remember his name!) were fantastic hosts. Highlight of our trip. 🙏

5.00We had an amazing boat ride. The lads had great knowledge of the area and also offered us some suggestions of places to visit after our boat trip. We had great fun snorkeling and seeing the fishes. We all had a great morning and would highly recommend it as an activity if you have the opportunity.
