Choose the boat tour of the caves of Polignano a Mare and be surprised by the jagged cliffs overlooking the sea!
During the experience you will visit all the caves of Polignano, the famous Palazzese cave, the swallow cave, along the coast until you reach Cala Port'alga and the Lovers cave a little further on, passing through the hermit rock.
Our Tour includes an aperitif offered on board and there is the possibility to stop for a dip where the sea is bluer!
It starts from the Port of San Vito, a hamlet of Polignano a Mare, 10 minutes by car from the center of Polignano, but you can buy a separate transfer service.
During the excursion there is a bathing stop in one of the most suggestive places of the Polygnane coast.
With Pugliamare you can enjoy a tasty aperitif based on taralli and prosecco offered by the cabin crew.

Abbazia di San Vito
The small port of San Vito is used as a dock for local fishermen's boats. From the sea you can see the Abbey of the same name overlooking the marina, dating back to the eighteenth century and currently a private residence. On the left we can see the control tower and the fishponds, built to store live fish during the winter months.
Cala Paura
The first recess we find along the coast is a cove, not a cave: Cala Paura. In reality, its original name is Cala Paguro. It is thought that, from the pronunciation of the dialect term "Pagour" (hermit crab), it came to be called Cala Paura due to assonance. In this cove there is the famous writing "Torno Subito" with wrought iron letters set in the rock. It seems that they are the work of an Iranian sculptor visiting Polignano but it is not known who the artist was referring to. Maybe right in our country.

Welcoming and very nice ride. Beautiful sea and panorama to see once. With the projector it was perfect.

The water was so rough, we were watching the boats that were out on the water. Unfortunately we missed seeing the caves, but there was no way we were going to go out in a boat only to get water splashed all over us and probably see sick.

The exit is pointless. Tipping insisted on, it's shocking considering the price of the 40 euro ticket per person

A superb 1h30 cruise to Polignano. The boat is pleasant, the crew warm and professional, and the scenery from the sea is simply beautiful. A moment of relaxation and discovery that we recommend without hesitation.

Interesting but a bit disappointing. The captain needs a little microphone as you can’t hear what he’s saying if you’re sat behind him. Not enough time to swim. Literally spent about 3 minutes in the water before he called us back. Not worth getting wet really. Just some things to note- no toilet on board. If you want to change into swim wear you need to use the cafe at the side of the port to get a qr code to use the bathroom. The glass of Prosecco as advertised was a very small amount in a plastic cup.
