Fascinating day with master crystal makers

5.00Our guide picked us up at the point of our choice in Prague to drive us to the factory. The 45 min drive was very pleasant as Tomas could introduce us to many aspects of Prague and of its surrounding. The visit was organized by Anka, a very friendly and competent staff from the factory: she took us through the various stages of crystal production: we could see the crystal makers blowing melted glass from the furnace, the cutting, the engraving etc, it was all super interesting . The shop at the end displays a wide range of productions, from glass to elaborate vases, traditional or modern design. I would recommend the visit for anyone, from children to adults, if you have half a day to discover a very different side of the local culture and craft

5.00We booked a private tour with Lucy Tours in mid-August. Lucy was super responsive on Whatsapp and listened to all my concerns as we had one person in the party with mobility issues. The guide, Roman, was extremely punctual and arrived in a large, comfortable, and air-conditioned van to accommodate all five of us. He was so knowledgable and pleasant, and he made the journey more fun. Our tour was to the glass factory in Nizbor. Roman was attentive to all our needs and took care of all aspects of the factory tour - where to meet, tickets etc. As we drove in and out of Prague, he also served as a historical guide within the city, educating us of all the sights we passed. Drop-off was right outside our hotel as was the pickup, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Their website is easy to use and their prices are reasonable given the high quality of the tour. I recommend Lucy Tours wholeheartedly and would definitely use them again when I return to Prague.
