We were picked up by Emma in her Porsche Cayenne on time at the cruise dock. She was so knowledgeable about The Bay of Islands and she provided us with a folder full of pertinent information she made herself, wow. Very thoughtful. First stop was Rainbow Falls where we learned about the Māori and European settlers from the early 1800's. Beautiful. Next was Stone Store& Kemp House. NZ oldest surviving stone & timber buildings. Also beautiful. It is picturesque & & shown on the tour description. Our next stop was Marsden Winery. What a breathtaking setting & the tasting was great! We wrapped things up at the Makana Chocolate Factory where we sampled (& purchased) handcrafted sweets. We were so impressed with Emma's professional approach and her safe driving. These are the tours my husband and I look forward to when traveling. Bus tours are a no-no. We will recommend Emma with Viator every time. Thank you, Emma, for a fantastic experience.
