The Basilica di San Petronio, located in Piazza Maggiore, is the largest and most important church in Bologna. You will enter the church to admire the wonderful frescoes and other peculiarities of this sacred place.

Our guide shared a history of the city and the province, including the relationships over the centuries with Rome and the Vatican. Want to know why the Basilica facade and interior are unfinished?
