The tour begins with a tasting of fresh handmade pasta, such as tagliatelle al ragù alla Bolognese, finished with locally produced Parmesan cheese. This iconic dish is one of Bologna’s most beloved culinary symbols. Lighter and more versatile than lasagna, it offers a perfect introduction to the city’s cuisine while leaving room for the tastings to come. Alternatively, you may be served traditional tortellini in broth, prepared according to time-honored local tradition and just as emblematic of Bologna’s gastronomic heritage.

5.00Make sure you are hungry! Lots of food. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company. Eugenio was knowledgeable about the food, the history and the area. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon. We left with a full belly had a better understanding of life in Bologna.

5.00We had an amazing lunch tour with Eugenio. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt so much about Bologna and its food. More importantly we also tried amazing food across several places. Eugenio also recommended a great restaurant for us to return to for lunch the next day. Great tour all round, would definitely recommend.
