On our Secret Food Tour Bologna: we'll provide you with an unforgettable taste experience.

We'll start with a traditional welcoming sweet. Then, we'll visit one of the oldest Salumeria of

the city to learn more about the local meat products and the famous pastas.

You'll enjoy: Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, Mortadella di Bologna and many

more regional cold cuts in the oldest Osteria in the world with a glass of our local wine.

Next we have planned a taste of fresh, handmade pasta made just for us at a local Trattoria,

always with a glass of local wine (and a coffee, if you like it) Then we will visit the main local

food market, called Quadrilatero, and we'll enjoy a tasting of different types of balsamic

vinegar from Modena (8-12-25 years of aging) to discover how this amazing tradition is still

deeply rooted in this region.

Please note that we are not able to offer any gluten-free or vegan option yet.

This was a GREAT experience in Bologna! Especially if you are short on time, this tour is a very informative and fun experience to learn about the history and highlights of Bologna and of course enjoy the local food and drink specialties. From watching tortellini made by hand, sampling a variety of cured meats, savoring taglietelle with ragu alla bolognese, tasting different balsamic vinegars, sipping local spumantes and more, this was the best use of 3.5 hours in Bologna! Claire was fantastic, her expert guidance really allowed us to learn and enjoy Bologna like an insider.

This was a wee treat to myself and what a treat it was! Claire was awesome, super friendly and interesting, and clearly passionate. My group was also super nice which helped but there's nothing like food to bring people together. If you're hesitating, don't! Life is too short not to enjoy all the food in Bologna 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

Bring your appetite and your walking shoes. We crisscrossed the city center and stopped in a series of shops including a salumaria, cheese shops, sampled pasta dishes, breads, and a secret sweet before finishing with gelato. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the local cuisine and history. He spoke very good English and took his time answer questions
