Never been landsailing? That's okay. No experience necessary. Bonaire has the perfect conditions and we have the ideal location. Sailing a blokart is super easy to learn. We'll give you a 10 minute lesson to ensure you have the most fun during your time on the track. This activity is for everyone because you control the speed. Those wishing to take it easy and enjoy a leisurely, wind-powered sail can do so, and those wanting a full dose of adrenaline will also enjoy themselves. We have three shadow (double) blokarts available so small children (ages 3-8) or elderly parents can ride in the "side car". No excuses for not participating as we recently had a 91 year old lady experience landsailing at our track. Children, age 8 and older, can sail solo (depending on wind conditions).

What To Expect

The track is located about 15 minutes from the center of Kralendijk on the wild and windy side of the island. You are welcome to drive there yourself, then spend some time exploring in the area. (If you need a transfer from Kralendijk, please select that option when you make your booking.) When you arrive at the track, we'll spend about 10-15 minutes going over the rules and getting some tips on sailing. You'll don helmets and gloves (and glasses if you don't have your own) before walking to the pit stop and getting into your blokart. We size the sail to suit the wind conditions and your weight and skill level. You'll have about 45 minutes of sailing (on wheels) before it is time to come back to the reception area for a debrief and discussion on "who was the fastest!". We offer cold water served in your very own eco-friendly water bottle (included in the price) and some unique souvenirs available for purchase. The total tour takes about 2 hours including travel time from Kralendijk.

This was one of the best excursions Bonaire has to offer! The staff and owner gave us a great experience. Once we had our training session it was smooth landsailing! Everyone in group enjoyed it and we all agreed we must do it again. Ages ranges in our group 30- 65.

This is definitely a must activity if you are in Bonaire. I was a little apprehensive at the beginning, having never sailed before and unsure about how fast the carts would go. I needn't have been, everything was explained and staff were on hand to help. Safety is paramount at Bonaire Landsailing Adventures! I was smiling all the time. It was great to see several large iguanas watching me skillfully (haha) navigate the track. The iced cold water in a colourful reusable water bottle (free to take home) was a wonderful addition to the amazing adventure. Many thanks Andrew and Donna and your fantastic track team!!!!

This activity was very organized. It was easier to do than I expected. The instructions given were excellent. My wife and I did this from off a cruise ship, but it could have been booked directly. It would have been less expensive this way. We had a great time doing this. It was great fun. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Awesome experience. The staff are friendly and gave great instructions. There were a total of 6 carts on the track during my time. It was perfect. You were not running into each other. There was lots of space. Would definitely do it again.

The instruction was spot on. Nothing was left to guessing. The landsailing was thrilling for an hour. Each lap around the track gave the driver information of how best to change their approach.

I'm 67 and took my husband to Bonaire for his 70th birthday. While not interested, I went along to do this BloKart landsailing for him. WOW! I want to do it again and again and again. It was SO much fun. Andrew has this set up so any and everyone has a great time. I highly recommend this adventure. And my husband absolutely loved it!
