After being picked up from your hotel and head to Setumbu Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise overlooking Borobudur Temple. When the air is fresh and as the mist begins to lift, the sun will surround the volcanoes and terraced fields.
Borobudur Temple
After finish enjoying sunrise at Setumbu Hill, you have a free time for about 2 hours before you can climb-up the Borobudur temple structure and admire its grandeur accompanied with local temple guide. Visit the world's largest Buddhist legacy of Borobudur Temple. Encounter 504 life-sized Buddha statues, each carved from a single stone. Discover seated Buddha statues beneath each bell-shaped spire. 5.00The trip covered all the important tourist spots including sunrise in Borobudur. It was breathtaking. It was totally worth it to get up at 3am for the view. The driver (guide) Haidar is very professional and welcoming. Highly recommended.

5.00Imam is amazing. Words don’t do justice to how special he made that day for me. He is genuinely a man who loves what he does, a heart of gold, he speaks perfect English, made me SO comfortable, and it felt like we are on a little exploration mission together. He was so flexible and truly went out of his way to make every moment special - I had some ideas in mind and he happily obliged! He picked me up early, I had hired him for the day - ride was not shared. We began with snack stops early in the morning, and then he took me to the viewpoint. Even was gracious enough to hike up with me and take pictures too! The one thing I would like to call out is that I really wanted to go to a random local bateek shop and try my hand there instead of a touristy spot. As we were driving I spotted a place and asked him to negotiate for me. He was GRACIOUS and spoke to the owners, negotiated and got me a spot. I did that for 3 hours and for this entire time he waited for me patiently - he felt it was best he didn’t leave alone there, even though I had asked him to go around take a break do what he wants in that time. Truly a man of his words, honourable too. I really don’t think my words are doing justice of how wonderful my time with Imam was. Attaching some pictures. There is a picture of Imam showing me how to eat a cacao fruit and telling me his childhood stories, and the Batik work of art I created!! Thank you Imam!

5.00Amazing experience from start to finish. Imam was professional, very knowledgeable about the local history and culture, and explained everything clearly in excellent English. The itinerary was well-organized but still flexible, with thoughtful photo stops and food recommendations that suited our preferences. I am was punctual, friendly, and patient, always checking on our comfort and safety. Highly recommended and would happily book another tour with them.

5.00We had a full day of fun. Yuni our excellent driver picked us up very early in the morning to see the Borbudur at sunrise and guided us excellently through the entire day with lots of adventures. The highlight for my little daughter was, when Yuni was talking about the deliciuos dragon fruits, he stop quickly over at a street vendor to get some of the famous fresh dragon fruits for her. Even though it was cloudy that day and we were not able to see the Merapi, the wild Jeep drives made our day. Thanks to Yuni, for such a smooth day packed with so much adventures

5.00Combined visit to Borobudur, Merapi volcano and Prambanan was well organized! Incredibly impressive temples and the adventurous experience at the Merapi volcano by jeep was also very nice. Driver Haidar picked us up early in the morning and brought us home at the end of the day. He also told us a lot about Yogyakarta and the history of the temples, very educational! Thanks

5.00Starting with Haidar, our lovely guide everything was super nice, we even got to experience some extra touristic visits which were amazing and a surprise! It was a long day but everything went smooth and comfortable always in a good disposition. Even if the weather is cloudy it is still worth it because in one day you can experience a lot.
