Today the temple is protected by UNESCO with ongoing restoration and maintenance to keep the temple looking it’s best. enjoying the serene and spiritual atmosphere that seems to have infiltrated every rock via. As you look out to the hills and forests surrounding you it isn’t hard to imagine how explorers must have felt when they stumbled out of the forest in 1814 to find such a sight lost to the world for almost 500 years.

    A day trip with our Silk guide between Borobudur and Parambaran temples: he was really helpful and put us at ease throughout the day. We also visited a typical Batik fabric workshop near the Borobudur temple. We ate typical Indonesian food with him near Parambaran temple, then at sunset we also visited Sewu temple inside Parambanan temple complex. In addition, he took pictures of us during our visit to the temple complex of Parambanan. It was a really wonderful day, spent visiting places with an authentic Indonesian guide like Silk.

    Our tour to the Borobudur and Prambanan temples, like many tours of this type, offered impressive views of the temples themselves. The temples are truly beautiful to see, and in retrospect, we could have easily organized the visit on our own with earlier booking. The pickup, transfer, and drop-off with Seta went smoothly and were pleasant. The official program was solid, but a bit highly priced for what was offered. However, the real plus of the day began after the official program, when Seta individually tailored to our wishes. He showed us local foods off the usual tourist paths, and we learned a lot about Indonesian culture. Seta's good English made communication easy and informative. This personal care from Seta significantly enhanced our day and made it a good experience.

    A great tour of the most impressive temples we’ve seen in Indonesia so far. Our guide, Anggor, was very punctual, fun and sweet. He drove us to various locations, including a cafè to try the kopi luhak and a monastery before heading to Borobudur, and a nice restaurant overlooking rice fields for lunch. He guided us through the entrance procedures at both temples, and always made sure we knew what to do and where to go. We always felt very well taken of! Grazie mille Anggor, it was great to meet you and we wish you all the best!!

    This was a great experience and the agency made it so easy for us to see everything without any stress. My girlfriend and I are traveling at quite a fast pace and being able to visit Prambanan and Borubudur without having to worry about anything was really amazing. We first went to Borubudur which was one of the most amazing temples we've ever seen with a breathtaking view and wonderful gardens. On the way, Thomas our guide, (who is the nicest human ever) took us to see how luwak coffee ( the most expensive coffee in the world) is made, we highly recommend you try this as the people there are adorable and it makes for a great present to bring back home. After Borubudur we went to have lunch in a place recommended by Thomas where we tried delicious traditional food (Nasi Goreng, Gadu Gadu and Gudeg). We then went to see Prambanan and Thomas volunteered to show us around for free and explained the history of the temple the stories of the statues etc... He truly made this an exceptional experience, constantly adding cultural and historical information to help us understand what we were seeing and the history of Yogyakarta and it's temples. I highly recommend anyone who wants a nice smooth experience to try it out and request Thomas, you will not regret it ! Thank you Thomas !!

    We had a fantastic day from dawn til dusk exploring the magnificent, world famous Buddhist and Hindu temples in Yogyakarta: intangible cultural heritage of humanity and a must see in your lifetime. A deeply moving and unforgettable experience to see these special temples and learn the history of the temples of Java / Indonesia Our guide, Arma, knew so much about the history of the temples and the area, He also had great recommendations for coffee and food during the tour. We visited a really beautiful Luwak coffee shop, and a beautiful restaurant in the middle of the rice paddies and countryside. All in all the tour was sooo well organised and it ran seamlessly. It was extremely professional. This made it a great experience. We never had to wait in a queue - everything was so smooth! We will definitely be recommending this tour to all of our family and friends! Thank you Arma for such a wonderful day!
