We highly recommend this tour, which will let you discover the outskirts of Borobudur which hide various little villages each with their very own tradition: batik, pottery, artisanal tofu and artisanal rice snacks. You will also be able to get your hands dirty in various workshops! Our guide was young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, explaining us every thing and more. He even took beautiful pictures and videos of us during the workshops. Don’t come to Borobudur just for the temple but also discover what’s beyond it with this wonderful tour!

Our local guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had an amazing tour through the villages, and were able to try everything - from sampling tofu and coffee to painting traditional batik and spinning pottery bowls! A highlight of our trip, the hosts, teachers and our guide were brilliant, would highly recommend.
