Boston Duck Tours has invested in a GPS activated foreign language app that Guests must download to their own mobile device to use on tour. The app provides imagery as well as narration in languages including Spanish, German, Mandarin, French, Japanese, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and Cantonese on all tours. Your mobile device must have its own cellular connection and you must bring your own headphones.
Accessibility: We have wheelchair accessible DUCKS from all 3 of our departure locations. If you are booking online you MUST call us and tell us you have a guest that needs to stay in their wheelchair as we need to pull 3 extra seats to fit the wheelchair in the DUCK. If booking in person ensure you tell our Guest Service Representative that you have someone in a wheelchair so we can also pull the 3 extra seats.
The Duck Boats depart from 3 locations throughout Boston: Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, or Prudential Center. Travelers must select their departure location during checkout. On the day of travel, please meet at the departure location you have selected during checkout. The meeting location and address will be available in your confirmation after purchase.

5.00More fun than I thought it'd be - we really had a great time riding the ducks. The meeting place was easy to find, we left on time, and enjoyed the sites we saw. The duck lips are a must for kids (you'll buy these separately) so plan for that. Our guide, Splish, was THE BEST. Very enthusiastic, funny and great with people. All the kids onboard had a chance to drive the boat, and that was unexpected and they loved it.

1.00Not much information. Really cringe dad jokes from our tour guide UK Lee. The guy was patronising and forced people to join in singing with him. When people didn’t find him funny, he’d get annoyed. I would urge people to do the trolley. Hated every minute of it. It also looks like from other reviews this is not a one time thing, sounds like all the your guides are like this, although UK Lee was especially unbearable. If I wanted a poor comedy show I’d go to one.

2.00One hour before the tour the water portion was cancelled due to winds. We still did the land portion and the announcer was excellent but we could not get a 50% refund as the others did that booked thru the tour company unlike booking thru a third party( TripAdvisor) . There was no warning on the Trip advisor website as to the possibility of this happening, would have helped as we would not have booked it. The land portion was excellent the guide was very funny and informative.

5.00Yes, you must do it. A great introduction to the city, with some humor mixed in. A local just told me that he learned things about a city that he never knew it’s entertaining the whole time & family friendly. The tour guides let the children drive the boat on the Charles River, which is a cool thing for a kid to experience. Book it - you won’t regret it!

4.00The Duck Tour is worth it just for the amphibious experience, land and river. Our guide Dr. Ben was entertaining and very informative. Please know that the seats are very small and hard, but remember that you’re basically on a a reproduction of a WWII military vessel. I totally recommend this tour. I only wish they wouldn’t make you quack, annoying as hell.
