5.00My family and I added the Christmas brunch cruise to our Boston Christmas trips several years ago. Two years ago, the Northern Lights boat was docked somewhere else for service and we were put on a different boat. The experience was a bit disappointing for us. Upon letting the company know of our disappointment, they quickly responded and ensured us that they wanted to keep our business. So this year, knowing that the Northern Lights was back in action, we booked the brunch cruise. It was absolutely stellar! The food was better than I ever remember it being, and the variety of pastries was just great. The whole experience from start to finish was a complete redemption for us. We will be back, and we highly recommend this business to anyone looking for an enjoyable, festive holiday experience.

5.00Minimal narration of the sites, but that was okay for me as I know the area well. I have taken more inclusive cruises with you and those are available, but i got what i wanted, I nice calm, peaceful ride with some good food thrown in.

4.00It was a lovely experience. The crew was friendly and helpful. Perhaps could have used a little more commentary, but I also appreciated not having constant noise, music and chatter blasting over the PA system! The buffet was good. We may have waited a little too long to avail ourselves of the buffet, so didn’t get to it when it was el primo. All in all a really good experience, and I would recommend it strongly.

4.00The enclosed dining area is very nicely done. Spacious & enough room between the tables to get up when you want without pushing against someone else. The buffet was very nice, good variety of items to choose from. The only thing that could make it better IMO is to uograde the speakers & have the french toast warmed. The captain was telling about the different bridges & islands as we passed them, but it was difficult to hear everything he was saying. Otherwise it was a great experience & we would definitely do it again.
