On our Secret Food Tour: Boston – Harvard & Cambridge, you'll escape the hustle and bustle of downtown to explore a charming New England college town just across the river.
Our experienced guides will lead you on a historic adventure past stately brick buildings and ivy-covered walls, the heart of America’s most famous university—Harvard. Along the way, you’ll hear stories of some of the area’s most notable former residents, including Julia Child, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg, while savoring delicious delicacies at some of their favorite former haunts. Throughout the experience, you'll discover why the Puritans chose this spot to establish one of the country’s first cities—and why its charm still endures today. Great tour, and Chloe was an amazing guide! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. Chloe did a great job leading us around, telling us interesting information about the restaurants, Cambridge, and Harvard, and she made our experience very fun and enjoyable. The restaurants were also all great. Love! Would go again.

Went on the tour with Chloe T. and two of my roommates! Had a wonderful time learning about the Cambridge area in addition to eating a delicious cheeseburger. Even as a current Harvard student, I learned a lot more about the history of Cambridge! Highly recommend this tour!

Go on this tour for great food and interesting history of Harvard University, the Town of Cambridge and Boston. This was our 4th Secret Food Tour (others were in different cities), and while we have enjoyed them all, this one was the best because of our guide (Sean D.). Sean loves his hometown and its architecture and history (from colonial days to current times), and his enthusiasm shows. Sean kindly gave us great recommendations near our hotel in the Back Bay area of Boston and in Hyannis (our next destination). The food at each stop was very good and plentiful. We liked all the food options, but we especially liked the fish sandwich at the oyster house. We took the afternoon tour and only needed a light bite for dinner we were so full from the afternoon tour. Secret Food Tours is a good way to get a combination of local food samplings and interesting information about the city.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Sean is extremely knowledgeable and is a gifted storyteller. He provided the perfect balance of personal stories as a native of Cambridge with historical facts. We enjoyed all of the food and left with a better sense of Harvard and Cambridge as well as full bellies. We highly recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed this food tour. Sean D. is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to successfully combine a food tour with a history lesson. Definitely bring an appetite, there is no shortage of food. We have done many food tours and we were not disappointed we chose this one.
