The Guide, who used his period name, Ben, was very humorous. I would say he focused more on humor than conveying period specific knowledge. However,he did spend some extra time with us taking us to sites that were not originally on the plan which was generous. He seemed to focus on what he thought people could remember as key and humorous takeaways. I was there with two nephews currently studying the revolution in high school, so I was hoping for a bit more factual context.

This your was quite boring for our family which included an eight year old. After 30 minutes, we split off from the group and did the trail on our own. Wouldn’t recommend for families. The group was absolutely huge so hard to hear the guide unless you’re right up front.

Our costumed guide was informative and fun. Struck the right tone with a large group of thirty folks, ages from 7-80’s. Managed everyone well and held our interest. Enjoyed it very much. We’re thankful for a sunny day in November.

The tour guide was amazing and very good. We enjoyed the tour. He did get a little long winded which required him to cut short the end of the tour. We spent way too long in the Granary Cemetery and didn’t make it to the North Church which was two minutes from our ending point. That would have been a very good shift in priorities.

This was our first time in Boston, and we were looking for a great way to absorb and explore all the history it has to offer. Despite windy conditions, and colder temps, our tour guide, Katherine, was amazing and tied history, with some comedy, throughout our entire experience. It was great! Would recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Boston’s history, while exploring the freedom trail.

Katherine was so fun in telling the history and made each stop interesting. We were there in November and it was cold and windy and she stayed character to keep it fun.
