What To Expect
Lake Bovilla
We start our tour from Durres (your accommodation) and Travel for 1 hour to Lake Bovilla. The lake provides a beautiful natural setting for recreational activities such as picnicking and hiking. Additionally, the area surrounding the lake is known for its scenic beauty, making it a favorite spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature.
We will continue our tour with hiking the Gamti Mountain. Mali i Gamtit is part of the Dajti Mountain range, which is located near Tirana, the capital city of Albania. It's a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, offering beautiful scenery and various trails for outdoor activities. The area is known for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes, making it a favorite spot for both locals and tourists to explore.

Fantastic trip to Lake Bovilla, Gamti Mountain and Tirana Town

5.00It was a fantastic experience and trip. We were first up and see bovilla lake, which was absolutely incredibly beautiful. We were leaving in April 2026, so there were no tourists everywhere, but just a few other groups, which was great. We have up on the mountain where you could look out over the lake. We took beautiful pictures. Then we went to Tirana city, where we were shown around by our guide, and were allowed to walk around even afterwards. Our guide Francisco was super good guide who was talking objectively and fun, as well as good at telling about the culture and history. He was also very attentive to people and helped with pictures etc. It was 100% worth the money.

5.00Great trip! Departed on time, we had a lovely drive to the starting point of the hike. Tne guide provide a lot of information, loved his stories. And organization was very smooth, we had toilet breaks, free time on top of the cliff for pictures, he was very helpfull, a s a solo traveler its always nice if someone takes a nice photo! After the hike we had some free time to enjoy a beer and the beautiful view, after that we head back to the car and went to the Castle and the old town. He offered to incluid lunch in our trip, that was in a great location for a very good price. We had the opportunity to try local food and a view to the bazar in town. After visiting the Castle, we had free time to check out the market and we m=went back home. Everything was great, really recommend it!
