The upper part of RASNOV FORTRESS IS CLOSED for the moment, but we will still have some fun! We will take the CHOO CHOO TRAIN and visit the lower fortress, the panoramic platform, the outside walls and exterior court.

Meet your guide in The Council Square, by the water fountain.
Fortified Church of Harman
You will meet your guide in the Council Square- Piata Sfatului - by the water fountain at 9 am. Travelling by air-conditioned van, admire Transylvania's magnificent scenery as you journey to Harman village. • Discover Harman Fortified Church, one of the best-preserved medieval monuments of Transylvania and one of the most beautiful fortified churches in Transylvania. The church has retained its Romanesque style (dating to 1240) despite reconstruction. The centrepiece is a circa-1300 bell tower, rising 56m above the complex.

5.00We had an amazing tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us personal attention. Of course we loved Bran Castle but were also amazed by the Fortified Churches which we knew nothing about. This tour gave us a great overview of iew of the Brasov area. I would highly recommend!

5.00This is a VERY underrated tour. It was the best tour I’ve ever taken in my life. I was so lucky to book during low season and Mimi as my personal guide. She is such a personable, knowledgeable and humble person. As a history lover with no prior knowledge of these locations, she was that rare history teacher you never turn your attention away from. I formed a core memory of climbing up a fortress bell tower, made of wooden ladders and so well preserved. I know it’s tempting to take tours to just castle locations, but as someone who’s taken individual tours of Peles & Cantacuzino, trust me you’d rather visit those castles on your own because the groups are large and you don’t get the privacy you need for those castles. Bran is much smaller in comparison and it felt like an individual tour with a friend who knows that castle like the back of their hand. Thank you so much Mimi for creating a core memory for me that I’ll remember forever.

5.00Had a great tour with Mimi today. We started out right on time and headed to Bran first. It didnt disappoint. The other stops were amazing as well. The churches especially. Mimi told me that they are not as visited as Bran or Rasnov. The churches are amazing though, and should be seen by more people, they are so worth it. Mimi had a great suggestion for lunch, and shared a ton of great information the whole day. Thank you!!!!
