I couldn’t do the bush walk with Baunti Tours as they only run on Thursdays but fortunately I got to do it on my final day (Saturday) with Pinetree Tours instead. You are given the option of an ‘easy’ or ‘challenging’ hike and I chose the latter. The guide was friendly and informative and gave everyone enough time to keep up if required. The views at the end were amazing and the breakfast was tasty and a great way to finish off. Highly recommended!

I chose the longer walk and so glad I did. It isn’t for anyone with mobility issues as there are steep sections and can be slippery under foot. Having said that, there was every opportunity to rest, it was beautiful at every turn, very informative and the BBQ at the end, delicious and plenty of it. Having spoken with others that did the shorter walk, today it was 100 Acres and they were thrilled with their selection and enjoyed it immensely. Cannot praise the crew highly enough for the efficient pick ups/drop offs, consideration for everyone’s welfare and the camaraderie around the breakfast. I would highly recommend this tour.

Two trails were offered and I took the harder trail which needed a certain level of fitness and enclosed shoes (although some showed up in sandals!?) there had been quite a lot of rain and parts of the trails were quite muddy and slippery. Trail was up and down but offered some great views and some bird life to observe. Breakfast was meant to be at the Cook Memorial but due to the weather forecast it was moved undercover which was a very wise decision because the heavens opened during our meal. Breakfast was very enjoyable after the 3.5km hike. Would suggest that hikers have at least a light breakfast beforehand because you need some fuel. Due to disease, shoes have to be brushed and sanitized on way in and out. Still took about half an hour in the guest laundry to scrub my shoes clean. Luckily my hotel provided a good scrubbing brush and a proper trough.

Amazing views, great tour guide and a wonderful way to start the day. There's two options a 1km walk or a 3.4km walk, we chose the latter and it was so stunning & picturesque. Done at a leisurely pace with stops with interesting information. A beautiful place to have breakfast at Captain Cook Monument after a walk. Highly recommend.

Lovely bush walk and amazing walk! Very experienced team. Only small gripe is if you don’t eat bacon or egg, it would be nice to offer an additional sausage and or beans as filler. Goes to show, amazing day and breathtaking opportunity. Highly recommend when on Norfolk Island!

This was a fantastic experience and high recommendation to Diesel. The tour comprised grey nomads but all there concerns and needs were handled with extreme expertise. His commentary during the walk was so interesting. The breakfast cooked by two highly skilled Fijians making it a highlight. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone especially grey nomads

This is a very pleasant and relaxed way to start your day. We were picked up at our accommodation and offered a choice of a shorter or longer walk. Three of us chose the short walk (1k) . We were warned of steps, but these were actually very gentle even for senior citizens with knee/hip issues. So glad we didn't miss it. A beautiful stroll through the forest. The long walk is about 3.5k and was pronounced to be less demanding than stories suggested. Give it a go. The breakfast was very nice, everything you could ask for. The view from the breakfast lookout is outstanding. Either do the tour or drive to the monument yourself.

Norfolk had been on our list a while, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The Island offers so much: history, beauty, opportunity to learn and experience. Ngaire @ Pinetree Tours, has so much enthusiasm, knowledge and fabulous sense of humour. Like many of the locals she’s effusive, and happy to spend time with descriptions, and options. We’ve loved our stay, and the chance to learn so much about this amazing place.

Do not book with this company. The company booked and ticketed my breakfast. When I arrived at my hotel, I found out the company canceled the breakfast. They did not email me nor did they immediately refund my money. The next day, they refunded some of the money in AUD despite my paying with a credit card in USD. They used an unfavorable exchange rate and shorted me. Very unprofessional on many levels and unacceptable. The other company was reliable and fabulous.
