We walked around the city and learned a lot about the history of Brisbane. The donut was also really tasty. I also had the opportunity to try vegamite for the first time.

Brett was a fun, friendly and very knowledgeable guide. We walked all over the city, learning about Brisbane's historic and modern spaces and buildings. We enjoyed a delicious coffee on Spring Hill and a pastry at Le Bon Choix patissserie. The weather was gorgeous for walking - blue skies and cool, fresh air. There are a couple of hills to go up and down but the tour is very accessible for most people. We visited many picturesque sites for photo opportunities and ended at Brisbane Skytower with its views of Brisbane and beyond. If you are new to Brisbane, this tour is highly recommended for getting a good handle on the city centre and Brisbane's history - from convict times right through to modern day.

My wife and I decided to take this tour to see some of the city and heard about some of its interesting history during our brief stay in Brisbane. And of course donuts make everything even better. Our tour guide Mia was just perfect. A delightful, friendly and very bright young woman who made the entire experience very enjoyable. She was knowledgeable, engaging and very thoughtful toward everyone in the group. The pace was just right with a nice mix of things to see as well as a little relax while enjoying a donut. If I had friends/family visiting the area this would be a top recommendation. Thanks Mia for a wonderful experience. Andrew & Shelley Newfoundland, Canada

Kaylan was an excellent storyteller and I’m grateful he was the guide! It was a fun and fact filled tour and even when there was a thunderstorm and downpour of rain for the full Brisbane summer experience, he kept providing historic information while we sought cover, I loved it!

We had a great and very informative walking tour with Kaleb (?) and Bret! We learned many interesting facts and a lot about the history of Brisbane. Both guides were very friendly and made this a wonderful experience. Finally, the donuts/pastries as well as the coffee were very delicious!

Godfrey was at starting point on time. It was just me but would have been good to have other walkers. 2 donuts included. Iced coffee so nice as morning was hot.

Loved this tour of Brisbane city. Celine was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about Brisbane. It was easy pace walking and bonus stop of coffee and donuts was a good way to relax as well. I was the only person on the tour so it was nice to get a personal guide. Can thoroughly recommend.

I booked this experience for my team to get a flavour for what Brisbane's CBD has to offer and learn a bit more about its past. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY! It was a fabulous experience! Our guide, Caelen, was a wealth of knowledge! He had a story for everywhere we pointed and a masterful way of telling the stories! He deftly and sensitively read the group as he told some of the more disturbing elements of history. He also set a wonderful pace for the day that accommodated the different fitness level in our tour. The tour was constructed well, was well paced and as we were a private group booking was flexible to where we had to start and finish. I particularly enjoyed the segmenting of the history from Brisbane's Wartime growth and maturation, its colonial past and the history of the Aboriginal people in the area (Originally known as Meanjin). Another advantage of booking privately is we got a taste from another tour offered by Fit City of the more macabre elements of Brisbane's past (I think it was called "Bloody Brisbane" but don't quote me). Caelen dropped a few of those stories and tales in our tour seeing our fascination with these kind of stories. As a team bonding exercise and way of getting a deeper appreciation for Brisbane I can not recommend this highly enough! It was FANTASTIC!
