At Alaskan Adventure Guides and Outfitters we will begin your trip on Beluga Lake in Homer, Alaska. We will travel on a float plane across the inlet to your unforgettable adventure. Once in the park Choose if you would like to be guided up to Brooks Falls viewing platform or go explore Katmai National Park. Bear tours offer a chance to observe grizzly bears in their natural habitats. Each experience is designed to provide a taste of Alaska's stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. These adventures promise to create lasting memories.

NO BEARS! Total waste of money!

1.00NO BEARS!!! This was a total waste of money! This tour should NOT be offered in June since the entire bear viewing is dependent on a salmon run that does not occur this early in the summer. It was a total rip off and completely unfair to even offer this tour in June. We could have booked a different tour to Lake Clark. Absolute scam!!! Also, the plane was very old and had extremely dirty windows which took away from the views. The pilot/owner did do a good job flying.

5.00I would choose this operator again gladly. Corey is a great pilot, well versed in the area, and took care of us the whole flight. Brooks Camp is a once in a lifetime experience and should not be missed.

5.00Cory, gave us the experience of a lifetime!! Flying over glaciers, lakes, mouse and landing on the lake. I was not totally prepared for the "John boat" and the close encounters with Bears feeding cubs. But now back on land- it was incredible!!! Dona

5.00This is a MUST while in Homer! Brianna and Cory were awesome to work with. Our original flight was rained out. We were issued a full refund through Trip Advisor, since that was how we initially paid. They rebooked us for the next day they had and we paid directly through them. The flight over and back were beautiful. Cory is very knowledgeable about the terrain features. He flew us over caribou on the flight home. Brooks Falls did not disappoint! Even before getting off the plane, we were treated to a bear fishing near the plane. Cory was very cautious and safe near the bears. We were advised that sometimes, bears fish or nap near the plane, delaying the return flight. The walk to the Falls was .6 miles each way for a combined 1.2 mile walk. The terrain was flat and an easy walk, mostly on a boardwalk. Alaskan Adventure Guides were great to work with! I would definitely recommend them.
