This was a wonderful way to spend the day while we were visiting Hobart. Our guide, Dave, was informative as well as entertaining and gave us a wonderful insight into all things Bruny Island. We were treated to local delicacies at several businesses - all of whom were welcoming and generous with their time and specialties - bread, cheeses, beers, oysters and honey just to name a few! The fish and chips recommended by Dave for our lunch choice did not disappoint. All up a great day!

You might think you are on a "small group tour" but in reality you are on the island with multiple buses and every location is swamped with tourists. Over-rated and we'd never do it again.

Well organized tour from Hobart. Punctual pickup from Hobart hotel. Congenial , knowledgeable guide (Kieran). Excellent food experience including boutique cheese factory, fresh oysters from an oyster lease, excellent seafood lunch, tasting from a chocolate factory & a honey producer. Comprehensive historical information about Bruny Island and its geography. A truly enjoyable day tour with many highlights & good value for money. This was the second time we have done this tour in 3 years. This time we took our friends.

This was a great day tour from Hobart. Our guide, Claire, was a great driver, very friendly and catered to all our needs. The various local businesses that we visited had good local produce and lunch, with oysters, was delicious. Would definitely recommend this tour.

The Bruny Island Food tour totally exceeded our expectations. I actually did a similar tour years ago, and wanted to bring my friend for her birthday this time as I thought it was so good. However, this time there were so much more that truly blew us both away. Our guide and driver was Claire, who was lovely, gentle, very knowledgeable and respectful, not to mention a skilled driver. Although all the places we visited were excellent and tasty, even a little forest stroll, the visit to the private Hiba garden at Bruny Island Chocolate was a wonderful bonus, and all the surprise little treats Claire kept giving us along the way really added the warming touch. We would love to come back and do it all again some day, hopefully with Claire 😊.

I would highly recommend this tour. Bruny Island is a great destination for a day trip from Hobart. Picturesque, lovely beaches and bush land aka forest, and a great collection of local food proprietors. We did a little nature walking, learned about the local residents and economy, and tasted lots of locally caught (fish and oysters) and produced (beer, wine, cheese, chocolate and honey). Our guide and driver was Paul who is entertaining and interesting. A fun day!

It is hard to get the balance right but we had that with a delightful group, guides Claire and Ryan and nature, culture, eco-education and food tasting. The food tastings were seamlessly incorporated so while you could shop additionally - there was no pressure. Very impressed and would choose this company regardless of where they went!
