3.00Marcelo the guide was obnoxious- inappropriate and talked about nonsense incessantly. He made fun of us older passengers many times. He switched the route and ruined the plans of a foreign family then would not reimburse them for their aborted trip. It was awful watching them get stranded at Mt Zion. While the scenery was amazing, and Stanley was a good driver, listening to Marcelo’s theories about Indian lore and mysticism for an hour made the ride home excruciating.

5.00This was such an amazing trip. My husband and I got to see two wonderful natural parks. Hiking/walking the trail of the Zion overlook was tiring but exhilarating at the same time. For this, I would definitely recommend good shoes. Wearing a handless sneaker with a foam bottom is not sufficient. You will find yourself slipping on the sand more often than that. Though I saw children walking the trail. (And an 81-year-old man of great.) it wore me out. If you are not someone that works out daily, this could be considered more of a moderate hike. Bryce Canyon also was breathtaking. Here the elevation is higher, and I found myself unable to walk for long periods of time, require multiple breaks. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything in the world. Our driver/guide, Marcello, was a wealth of information from start to finish. Absolutely enjoyed him. As a side-note, the lunch was way better than we thought it was going to be. The company provides lots of cold water, which I encourage you to partake. My husband and I have considered renting a car and driving down to see one of the canyons/national parks. By doing it this way we got to see both in one day.

5.004am start. Had to be there for 5:15. No regrets as excellent trip. Would recommend to others. We returned around 6pm
