Welcome to the dark side of Bucharest. Close to the Old Town and even in the place where you are having fun in the evening, there are strange things happening. Be aware, there might be some uninvited “locals" joining us for this tour. As this place was inhabited more than 2000 years ago, the city has been a witness to many deaths, murders, mysteries and, if you pay attention, you will hear the voice of the underworld almost everywhere. The tour tells stories of haunted houses and places and of the horror mythology or Romania, an inspiration for the vampires. Oh…let’s not forget Dracula, he also seems to be present here, given his very strong connection with the city and its past.
The tour includes stories from the guides knowledgeable in folklore, mythology and supernatural. They are not costumed and they are not actors performing scary scenes

Tudor was an awesome guide, he knew a lot and was really funny too! We'd recommend this tour for anyone who would like to know a little extra about Romanian traditions and beliefs. 10/10

Great tour, very glad we booked it. We were both entertained and learned a lot about Romanian culture and beliefs! It was chilly at night in the winter, but totally doable - just make sure to dress warm! :)

3 1/2 stars, rounded up. A disappointing ratio of walking to talking; most of the sites visited were irrelevant to the stories and not particularly interesting. The stories themselves were well-told.

If you love all things spooky and unusual, this is for you! Our guide Rareș was fantastic: so knowledgable and told the stories in such an interesting way. Would absolutely recommend, but wrap up warm if you go in the winter like we did!

Tudor was a great storyteller. He educated is about real vampires with a recent news story in the early 2000s. The last story about the boarding school sent me chills.

An informative and honest explanation of supernatural activity in Bucharest with historical insight, too. Bogdan was a great guide. He was very passionate and unbiased about the stories he shared. My main advice is to make sure you wear comfy shoes!

Ali was an amazing tour guide! She was full of incredibly facts about Romanian culture. She had personal stories from her family that were intriguing and so unusual! The mix of religion and superstition in Romania is fascinating! We went to areas of the city that we never would’ve ventured into without a tour guide. We learned how to ward off the evil eye, and to spot someone that has been transformed into an evil spirit! We enjoyed it so much that we’ve been telling everyone about our tour It was spooky fun!
