Had a 4 hour city tour with Toni interspersed between walking & being driven. Toni was an excellent guide & we ticked off all the key sights we wanted to visit. Especially enjoyed Revolution Square & understanding the detail around the overthrow of the communist government. Highly recommend this tour.

Toni was excellent at giving us an introduction to the city.. We thought the open air Museum was lovely and beautiful and well worth a visit. My favorite part was seeing some historical sites in the city and hearing about the history of communism in Romania. I appreciated the the refresher course on the fall of communism. I remember vividly watching it on the news as it was happening years ago, but being in the place where it happened really brought it to life. We definitely would recommend this tour.

Marius was our guide and drove us around the city and showed us all the sights. He has excellent knowledge of the city and the history of Romanian culture and civilisation dating back to the Roman period. It was a very hot day and not easy to walk in the heat. I particularly enjoyed the village museum, it is a wonderful place.

We have a Wonderful afternoon with Marius on our tour of Bucharest! He took us places that were not in the travel guides and had very good and personal stories about his city. Marius was flexible with time and where we wanted to go. He was knowledgeable of the history of the area and spoke excellent English. We even took us to a local cafe where we got meet the owner. Highly recommend!

We learned a lot about the history of Romania especially the 1989 revolution. Tony allowed us to go at our pace and willingly went beyond the alloted time. Tony is very personable.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all the many questions we had. He also had additional visual aids (photos and videos) which really helped to bring the history to life - not really something he could have done as part of a group tour so the extra cost of a private tour was well worth it. The tour took in all of the expected points of interest - part walking, part travelling in car. The open air museum was very interesting but worth noting that if you want to go inside the palace of parliament, tickets have to be booked a day in advance and can only be done as part of a government tour.
