St. James's Park
Your regal tour begins at the Duke of York Column, located on St. James’, where you’ll greet your guide and embark on a walking tour of London’s royal monuments. During the stroll to your first site, your guide provides history-rich commentary that offers insight into the British monarchy’s illustrious reign. Stop at St. James’ Palace, which has played host to iconic royals including Princess Diana and Anne Boleyn, before you continue into St. James’ Park — a green lung formerly home to the Royal Zoo. Stroll down The Mall, designed to represent a giant red carpet leading to Buckingham Palace, and pass by the home of Princes Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Clarence House.
Buckingham Palace
Then, approach the gates of Buckingham Palace, arguably the world’s most famous royal residence. Open for only two months a year, the opportunity to visit the State Apartments is a rare and exciting experience. With an audio guide to direct your exploration, you’ll delve into the lavish chambers of the British Monarchy: marvel at the opulent décor and admire rooms swathed in sumptuous upholstery, chandeliers, and priceless art. See, too, important pieces from the royal collection such as Sèvres porcelain and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.

Jeramy was great. So appreciated the personal audio. Being a senior, the walking pace was just right.

That it doesn't start at the Palace - totally on us for not reading the information completely but thankfully we still caught our group with Louise. Had a lot of interesting commentary to cover sites up the Mall but was heavy on American references. Once you get into the Palace, its a Palace based audio tour. Still great, thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

We found out that people could pay 35 pounds to tour the palace and grounds. I paid around $75 for my Viator tour. . The Viator guide spent only 45 minutes with us and then we were on our own for the next 2 hours to tour the palace. She was a great tour guide but we feel like we grossly overpaid with Viator when we paid so much more for a tour that we basically did ourselves. Why don’t you just sell entry tickets to the palace instead of saying you’re providing a tour?
