  • Marked up price, worth the money though

If you aren’t lucky enough to grab tickets from the Buckingham Palace website before they’re sold out, it’s definitely worth buying them here even with the marked up price. I highly recommend everyone to tour this gem of a Palace. From the floor to the ceiling, it is immaculately decorated with very fine details. They have art dating back to the 1300s. No pictures are allowed, be respectful. At then end of the tour they have a cafe where you can get something to eat and relax. A short walk across the garden, there is a bathroom/water station and a souvenir store. To exit the grounds, you walk down a path just beyond the store. Take your time and take in all of the beauty, it really is a magical place. My only issue was that we were a little late to the tour, so they wouldn’t let us in. It’s crazy they have no flexibility knowing that many people do run late. However, they did move our tour to another date so I was thankful for that considering how the ticket is 3x more expensive than getting them directly from BP. Here’s a tip, and something that other people did that I should have done myself. They do a guided tour to the Palace doors which takes about an hour. If you’re running behind, find your group walking on the street before they’re get to the Palace entrance. They can check you in as they walk up to the entry or when you get to the Palace entry. Once they go inside then you’re out of luck and should call to reschedule.

This tour operator is very disorganized and booked way too many people on the tour. Best just to book the palace tour directly with the palace.
