St. James's Park
Your regal tour begins at the Duke of York Column, located on St. James’, where you’ll greet your guide and embark on a walking tour of London’s royal monuments. During the stroll to your first site, your guide provides history-rich commentary that offers insight into the British monarchy’s illustrious reign. Stop at St. James’ Palace, which has played host to iconic royals including Princess Diana and Anne Boleyn, before you continue into St. James’ Park — a green lung formerly home to the Royal Zoo. Stroll down The Mall, designed to represent a giant red carpet leading to Buckingham Palace, and pass by the home of Princes Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Clarence House.
Buckingham Palace
Then, approach the gates of Buckingham Palace, arguably the world’s most famous royal residence. Open for only two months a year, the opportunity to visit the State Apartments is a rare and exciting experience. With an audio guide to direct your exploration, you’ll delve into the lavish chambers of the British Monarchy: marvel at the opulent décor and admire rooms swathed in sumptuous upholstery, chandeliers, and priceless art. See, too, important pieces from the royal collection such as Sèvres porcelain and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.

The tour was good however I highly recommend skipping the tour and going straight for Buckingham Palace. There was a lot of information, most of it wasn't really that interesting but that's not the fault of the tour or the tour guide so still, 5 stars.

Our guide had fun stories about some of the history. Made me laugh at every stop. They basically guided you up the Mall area, explaining the palaces and buildings. It also made getting into the palace stress free.

The palace itself was amazing but there wasn't much of an actual tour since the guide did not accompany the group inside. We met at a nearby monument and he provided interesting information during the approximately 10 minute walk to the palace. After that, we were on our own. At least he got us to the right place!

Nice walking tour of the Mall, with royal residences and history, before arriving at the Palace to see the State Apartments. Taking this tour means you don't need to sort out Palace tickets on your own, and you get in early before crowds build up.

Very good self Guided tour. I saw all the beautiful paintings and sculptures in the royal rooms and it was just the best royal Palace tour I have taken.
