Get to know the city through the eyes of a local guide. We were born in Hungary, but we have 12 years of experience with American tourists. With no set itinerary, you can customize the tour or leave it to the local for an enlightening introduction to the city.

Usually we do this by car, but we can do part or all of the trip by walk, if you like.

We are passionate about our city and eager to share their knowledge and insights.

What To Expect

Since this is a custom tour we do whatever you want. We go wherever you want to go. This list has some examples that are popular in Budapest. Cuisine, street food places, pubs, bars, baths, beaches (the Danube has nice beaches), Lupa lake (turned into a beautiful sandy beach with palm trees), art galleries, the secret gallery, restaurant with live music, concerts, unique architecture, churches, synagogues, just to list some of the options. We can even have lunch or dinner in a Hungarian home.

Balazs Akermann was our guide and he was very attentive of our interests and customizing the itinerary. He is a collector of vintage automobiles and gave us a classy ride around town in a vintage European car..

Attila was very accommodating. His English is perfect and he communicated with us several times before our tour to find out what we wanted to do. His new car was very clean and comfortable. He's a great guide and knows a lot and does his homework before your tour. He's very personable and a lot of fun. One of the places I wanted to go to was the Pinball Museum, and he had never been there so I actually took him someplace new and we had a great time. I highly recommend Attila.

We had a very nice time with our guide Attila. Prior to the tour he contacted us so we were able to let him know our preferences. That is reason I booked this tour. I wanted flexibility. The car we rode in was brand new and very comfortable too.
