This is hiking 2.0: a world-first exoskeleton adventure that feels like an e-bike for your legs.
After a private transfer by car to the Buda hills, you’ll climb forest trails to one of Budapest’s highest viewpoints, where electric assist adds comfort and endurance without stealing the satisfaction of the climb. It’s comfy, freeing and low-key hilarious when you realize how strong you suddenly feel—empowering, a bit geeky and seriously fun.

Normafa
The tour begins at Normafa, one of the most popular hiking spots among Budapest locals. Here, we will get acquainted with the use of the exoskeleton before starting our hike.
Szépjuhászné Station is one of the scenic stops along the Budapest Children’s Railway, set in the heart of the Buda Hills between Normafa and Hárs-hegy. It serves as an excellent starting point for forest walks and easy hikes, with several marked trails leading to popular viewpoints such as the Kaán Károly Lookout. Its peaceful, wooded surroundings and the nostalgic atmosphere of the narrow-gauge railway make it a favorite destination for hikers and families alike.

So Much Fun & Great Views A brillant mix of technology and outdoor adventure. The guide was great, the hills were gorgeous, and the exoskeleton made everything feel more playful than exhausting.

This felt like hiking 2.0! You still walk, but with help that makes longer routes accessible for all fitness levels. Photos and time at viewpoints were great.

Tried an exoskeleton in Budapest and it was a really interesting experience. The technology felt smooth and supportive, and the team explained everything clearly. Amazing to see how advanced mobility technology has become!

This was a very unique and exciting way to explore a new city! I've seen videos of exosceleton online, so when I saw this opportunity in Budapest I knew I had to try it. And it did not disappoint! Fun activity, and the tour guide was nice. This tour can be a great match both for experienced hikers and those less comfortable walking for hours up and downhill (like me).

It has been really cold in Budapest, but luckily the weather warmed up a bit by the time of the tour. Gábor led the nearly 3-hour City Exoskeleton tour with incredible dedication and expertise. Connecting the exoskeleton to the user is extremely simple: after downloading the app, I was fully connected within 30 sec. During the first few minutes, the AI-controlled device learned my walking patterns, and from then on it adaptively switched between the available modes depending on the terrain. This technology was definitely needed, as we took a short but steep hike up to the Budapest Citadel. After our first stop, we descended and then made our way up to the Castle District, where we explored most of the area. WARNING: You truly feel the power of the exoskeleton when you take it off — be prepared for elephant legs!

I was lucky enough to bump into E-Magine Budapest’s main office, located in one of the busiest and most important parts of the city, near the Budapest Eye. The experience was out of this world, like a glimpse into the future. The team was a solid 10/10. They helped me book the activity with genuine smiles and gave a hands-on demonstration that completely convinced me to book it on the spot. The guide assigned to us and the overall service were flawless. Normally, tourists wouldn’t think of visiting Normafa or the areas covered in this tour, but that’s exactly what made it so special. With lots of laughs, a bit of nervousness about how it would feel, then gradually getting comfortable with it and finally, when it was removed, truly feeling the difference. The exoskeleton exceeded all my expectations and inspired me in many different ways. In short, it’s a life changing concept. Kudos to the E-Magine team for creating such an unforgettable experience.

A truly unique way to experience nature. The hike itself is beautiful and engaging, with scenic paths and steady uphill sections toward the lookout tower, and the AI-powered Hypershell exoskeleton blends into the experience effortlessly. We covered a long distance through natural terrain without losing the feeling of a real hike, just with far less strain. The AI adapts smoothly to your movement and the trail, making everything feel light and natural. After finishing, walking without it suddenly felt much heavier. A perfect balance of nature, movement, and innovation. Highly recommended.

I’ve been on many tours before, but I don’t think I’ve ever laughed this much on a nature walk. From the moment we stepped into the exoskeletons, everyone started joking and testing how “strong” their legs had become. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was great. We followed a beautiful path, stopped several times to take photos, and had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. If you love nature and enjoy trying something very different, this tour is highly recommended.
